storms wreak havoc all across the state leaving many to zeal with the damage. goof good morning. here's what people are still talking about today. 10 confirmed tornadoes. cleanup crews have been working all weekend trying to clean up the damage. in baltimore county strong winds sent trees crashing into homes a and vehicles. some neighbors are looking at huge repair costs. it's the same story in harford county where this woman said a tornado from her neighbor's yard -- took a tree from her neighbor's yard and crashed into her roof. she and her family were inside at time but three were not injured. wjz has complete coverage. meteorologist bernadette woods will tell us where they were. first, derek valcourt has more. good afternoon, derek. >> most folks in the tornado's path ran for cover. for too many in fallston, there

was nowhere to g around fallston cleanup is the name of the game but it will be months before things start looking like they were before friday's strong storm spawned a tornado that ripped through the pleasant hills neighborhood. >> you're standing there with one minute with your friends and the last minute devastation. >> reporter: he and his friend keith were inside what used to be a small auto shop. >> keith said get down. that's when i saw the wall twist. i saw the roof go over. keith was in the middle of the building. i saw him went down and i within the down. >> reporter: his scrapes and bruises are minor compared to keith's broken bones. >> i could see that much of keith's arm hanging out. >> reporter: he is now in the hospital. >> this was my office trailer. about 150 to 200 feet.

>> reporter: john missed the storm by a matter of minutes. >> i had to run an errand. otherwise, i would have been in here. >> reporter: damage to trees, posts, fences. friends are taking up a collection for his medical bills. his fiance is just thankful he survived. >> definitely lucky to be may life. i'm so lucky ema not planning a tube ral. >> reporter: tornadoes also touched down in howard, carroll, prince george's county and anne arundel county. >> meteorologist bernadette woods has more on the 10 confirmed tornadoes in the state. i hit to -- hate to keep repeating the number but 10 is amazing. one is big news. >> we will take you to list of where the tornadoes were confirmed. you can see that's the enhanced

fujita scale. a few ef 0's and ef 0 in mt. airy. not rated country side, bwi marshal. it was spotted by a thundershower worker and gam ber and carroll county. that brings our total to 10. the national weather service is still working on this. the damaged scale, that's the enhanced fujita scale. it has the wind. you can't measure it during the tornado. so what they are estimating for the ef 0 levels, 65 to 0 miles an hour. you see that ranges all the way up to an ef 5. we're on the lower and. it's still pretty devastating out there. we'll have more on this coming up. >> be sure to stay with us for

complete coverage. remember, wjz is always on for you. for the updated forecast and your own live look at any time, go to wjz.com. police are investigating another reported flash mob robbery this afternoon, this time in baltimore county. witnesses say more than a dozen teens rushed into the 7 lever-- eleven. they knocked things off shelves and took tonight. as far as the flash mob goes, no arrests have been made. city police are asking for your help trying to find a man who shot a man over the weekend. deshawn bowman was shot on saturday. according to witnesses, bowman was pumping gas when he started talking to a passenger in the car. the other man shot him.

anyone who witnessed the shooting or have information on it is asked to call city police. the man who shot and killed trayvon martin in florida is sitting in a jail cell after the court revoked his bond. as randall pinkston reports, the damage may already have been done. >> reporter: george zimmerman walked back into police custody, ordered by a judge to turn himself in. zimmerman, accused in the shooting death of 17-year-old trayvon martin earlier this year, had been in hiding with his family since april after posting bail for $150,000. zimmerman attorney mark o'mara. >> he's worried about himself, his, wife, his family, everybody who has to be in hiding because of the enormous frustration and hatred. >> reporter: the judge ordered him to surrender on friday

believing he and his wife shelly lied about his finances to get a lower bail. >> he can't get the benefits of lower bond based on those falsehoods. >> reporter: at the bond hearing in april sherry told the judge they had limited finances despite having raised thousands online for a legal defense fund. oh, mara said the judge may not agree to a new bail hering. >> it's a credibility issue. now that credibility has been attacked or tarnished and it will have to be rehabilitated. >> reporter: his attorney plans to file for a new bond hearing on on -- on monday. randall pinkston. >> the sheriff's office said zimmerman is in a cell all by itself because his case is so high profile. baltimore county five new speed cameras will be popping up in school zones. the new locations are near, loch

that rolled through yesterday. they were lifted fairly quickly. the low pressure is up to the northeast. it's in a bit of a rotation and will be keek moisture our way, also pulling down cool air. the way it all sets up with temperatures staying in the 70s. we're already at 71. you see 60s around the region. we have 74 down on the shore. those temperatures will go up a little bit but here's how it plays out. we stay in an unseasonably cool mode. the jet stream has taken a dip which will allow that to stay over us. high pressure eventually moves on in. it will take until roughly the weekend to do it. we'll have more in the forecast. bernadette woods will have more in just a few minutes. now back inside. orioles fans and the front office could be holding their breath as adam jones waits for

welcome back. we all know what happened on friday. yesterday we had a few severe thunderstorm warnings. we still have the chance for a shower or thunderstorm. it's what tim was talk bsmght we're in this very unsettled weather pattern. winds bringing in cooler air. 71 in baltimore right now. 70s to our south and east. take a look at this jumping to 61 in oakland. even closer, you can see 68 in west min stemplet otherwise, we're up to the low 70s. we're not going up all that more. we've got the huge zip in the jet stream which keeps the cool air coming down. in addition to that, what's going to happen is it stays unsettled. there's a huge low and what it
