good afternoon. we begin this noon with a big breaking news. triple county hopeful i'll have another is officially out of the belmont stakes. ron matz is back in the news room with the news announced just moments ago. >> reporter: trainer doug o'neil says i'll have another will not run. he made the shocking announcement on a radio show this morning. apparently the horse is injured, but it is not life threatening. doug o'neil was expected to release more information at a news conference in about an hour. o'neil tells dan patrick the horse looks fine but they can't run him. he said i'll have another may never race again. at 4 to 5 he was the favor.

is around 6.7%. there's also breaking news in the jerry sandusky case today. moments ago a pennsylvania judge denied another request to dismiss the charges. that means all 52 counts of child sex abuse remain in effect with the opening statements to start monday morning. sandusky is accused of abusing 10 boys in a 15 year period. a big decision for the army private charged in a massive security leak. today a military judge refuses to dismiss 8 of the 22 counts against bradley manning. prosecutors say he leaked hundreds of thousands of documents. the judge rejected defense arguments that the government used con constitutional language. baltimore county police are monitoring a black bear spotted in the northern section of the county. mike hellgren is live with the latest on this

situation. >> reporter: good afternoon. jacksonville element ary was put on lock down yesterday because of this. a teacher and some students saw the bear on campus. they were able to get inside the classroom and the bear went away. >> this black bear was probably looking for food and traveled a long way for it to jacksonville elementary school in baltimore county just as 300 students and parents gathered for the 5th grade graduation. >> three of them screamed and then they just stared. this is not something you see in baltimore county. she was like get in the classroom now. at that time we did a complete -- what we call a lock down. in other words, no one went out from there. never saw the bear again. >> the bear likely came from western maryland or maybe southern pennsylvania. it's a rare site. >> many, many years i've been in the system and i have never encountered a black bear before. this is one in a million for me. >> last week a couple saw a

bear near manchester. a 2-year-old male. >> out of the side of my eye i looked over and there was a bear. i told my wife, oh, my god, there's a bear. >> we couldn't believe it. >> at the elementary the worries are over once school lets out for the summer today. scomblsz it can go -- >> it can go anywhere after summer vacation. go back north come august because school starts again. >> reporter: students were leaving class yesterday and they sing a familiar children's song what else but bear necessities. back to you. >> thank you very much, mike. there have been recent bear sights in howard and montgomery counties. local pharmacists held at gunpoint. baltimore police are looking for the man responsible for robbing several pharmacies in the city. you're looking at pictures of the suspect. he works alone. he demands prescription drugs. the most recent robbery happened monday on read street. anyone who

it's 80 degrees and sunny in central maryland right now. what a beautiful day. the complete forecast is coming up. global out rage after fresh violence in syria. this cell phone video captures a successful rebel attack on a government tank. this comes after human rights activists say government forces brutally killed 80 people, including women and children. today united nations leaders are meeting to end the attacks. suicides among u.s. troops are increasing and averaging nearly one a day. there were 146 suicides in the first five months of this year. that's up
