next stop baltimore. the president's reelection campaign is coming to town. >> why he is focusing on maryland. >> hello, i'm jessica kartalija. >> i'm don scott. here is what people are talking about. president obama is on a fund- raising mission in maryland. he has two stops, one at a private luncheon at owns mills baltimore and the second downtown. we have details on the president's visit. good afternoon, pat. >> reporter: good afternoon. president obama is in maryland today to raise money and the tickets for the private luncheon that he is attending right now, $10,000 to $50,000. it costs $250 to $10,000 to attend the event at the hyatt later. maryland is already considered an he electoral given for the president but it's the giving that the obama campaign is focused on here today. >> we will likely raise over a

the roof to collapse. two firefighters were hurt but are expected to be okay. we have no indication on how much all this damage will ends up costing. jessica, back to you. >> ron, thank you. a building inspector will visit the sight to see if the building should be condemned. a potentially damaging morning for jerry sandusky at his trial. an 18-year-old is testifying about what he says were years of sexual abuse at the hands of the former penn state assistant coach. it's manuel gallegus that has the latest for wjz. >> reporter: jerry sandusky arrived back in court for testimony from an 18-year-old who said sandusky repeatedly molested him starting when he was 13. openly sobbing through his words, victim number one testified that he met sandusky through his charity for at risk kids. within two months of sleepovers at the sandusky house, usually in the basement, he testified san diegan getting more physical with him, kiss him and

massage him before bed dime. with his hands down the back of my shorts and the blowing on my stomach, the witness then paused and described sandusky performing oral sex. the man at this point fighting back tears in the courtroom said i didn't know what to do. thoughts running through my head. i kind of blacked out. i didn't want it to happen. i kind of froze. did you tell your mom, the prosecutor asked. no. did you tell anyone? no did you tell him to stop? no i was embarrassed and confused. on cross-examination, the defense attorney tried to show that the two spent a lot of time together without alleged sexual conduct. sandusky admits showering with boys but his lawyer says that was part of his sports culture and up bringing in pennsylvania where his parents ran a rec center. sandusky says he has done nothing criminal. the defense suggests that money could be motivating some of

sandusky's accusers. manuel gallegus, wjz, eyewitness news. >> sandusky is expected to take the stand in his own defense. a lawmaker is convicted of stealing from her office. a short time ago a jury convicted tiffany alston of taking money to pay an employee. it could cost her her general assembly seat. she is also charged in a separate case accused of using office funds to pay for her wedding. navy investigators are on the iron shore trying to figure out what caused an aircraft to crash. the 44-foot unmanned drone went down yesterday on an island near toddville in dorchester county. you can see the burns debris. navy officials say it was on a routine training flight when it plummeted. no one was injured on the ground. today must be pat back for the great days we have had recently. take a live look outside.

trial today. prosecutors say following a fight over a video game, 17- year-old matthew bent and two friends dosed a fellow student with alcohol and set him on fire. the burned teen survived but suffered serious scarring. he faces up to 30 years in prison. the other two teens pled guilty and are in prison. the roger clemens perjury case will soon be in the hands of the jury. closing arguments are today. clemens is charged with repeatedly lying to congress. clemens opened not to take the stand in his defense. hundreds of firefighters are on the ground in northern california trying to stop the spread of a wildfire that has taken the life. the remains of a missing woman were found behind her home. thousands of people are still being kept away from their homes which may not still be there. >> so far the focus has been on

life safety and structure protection. a different team, a recovery team will determine what the damage was, where the homes are, who they are owned by and work with the residents. >> the fire continues to be feed by tender dry conditions and fanned by a high wind. a notorious case in australia is finally solved 32 years later. a coroner declares it was a dingo that took her from the out back in 1980. this was the 4th investigation into the case. her mother was convicted and later cleared of murdering her daughter. the case drew huge attention after the baby's parents said she was snatched by a dingo. >> no longer will australia be able to say that dingos are not dangerous. >> the father, michael chamberlain was charged as an accessory to murder. he was later cleared.

this noon there is a party going on in los angeles as kings fans celebrate the franchise's first ever stanley cup. the kings closed out the new jersey devils in game 6 of the national hockey championship. thousands of fans gathered inside and outside staple center to see their team win 6- 1 in a blowout win. still ahead, break out the rain boots. these clouds are sticking around for a while. ,,,,,,,,,,,,

and the foot will be sent downstream. this is all good news. first warning doppler radar, you are maybe thinking look to the left of the tv screen. that is the end of the rain. not by any stretch of the imagination. this cold front is sitting to the west. when that gets into this warm humid unstable air mass -- take a look at this graphic. it's about 13 to 15 degrees cooler than this time yesterday. unstable air mass. that warm front starts moving in here. you will see showers and thunderstorms firing up in a big way. right now nothing severe is expected. we are expecting a couple of inches of rain the next 12 hours. 74 degrees. 90% humidity. barometer is 29.95. 73 hagerstown and easton. 72 elton 68 ocean city. d.c., annapolis in the mid-70s.
