make women feel better about themselves by ininjecting them with silicone, not realizing it was industrial-strength. >> i want to have privacy with my family right now. i don't have any comments. >> she's relieved that everything is over and she can move on with her life. >> reporter: the feds hit a snag when a key witness, her former lover, told the judge the government tricked him into signing a plea deal turning a simple sentencing highwaying into an all-day affair. the prosecutors still had a powerful account from a dancer smedl e yerks injected. the silicone spread into her bloodstream and sent her to the hospital. >> reporter: smedley kept the silicone in a water jug and used crazy clue to plug the holes in the women's bodies. >> reporter: it exposed the

airlines passengers turned scary today. as hazmat officials had to srnlg the plane. kai jackson has more. >> reporter: it was a very unexpected scare in the sky. >> reporter: sky chopper 13 is high above bwi marshall airport after southwest airlines flight 709 made i scheduled landing yet with an emergency on board. the flight originated in norfolk virginia. at some point in the air, a flight attendant became sick. one the plane landed, it was determined a second flight attendant was also ill. >> reporter: after flight 709 landed her, the two sick flight attendants were taken to the hospital. and a hazmat team inspected the plane. >> they did air samples to try to get an idea of what could have been the cause, and they

determined it was a cleaning eight probably used on the aircraft. >> reporter: it's not clear what cleaning eight or material made the flight attendants sick. none of the passengers became ill, and of the five crew members on board, only the two were sick. >> the passengers were unaffected by this. this is a hub airport, so people scattered as quickly as they could to get to their next flight. >> reporter: eyewitnesses tell us the two flight attendants have been released from the hospital. those passengers got on another plane to get to chicago. the culprit that made the flying attendants sick was bathroom spray. >> thank you, kai. the air marshal authorities have no reason to believe this involved anything other than a restroom spray. are weather are the call

famed mount blanc peak. the avalanche occurred without warning and in good weather conditions. the dea says this 200 yard long tunnel was built with engineering expertise and has a ventilation system. the dea says it rant from an ice plant in mexico to a vacant strip mall in arizona. tragedy at economic-con in san diego. a fan is struck by a car and killed at a pop culture convention. the 53-year-old woman ran across the street to secure a place in line. she had been waiting since sunday for a panel on the twilight saga. the driver has not been cited. heavy rains pound the houston area for the sixth straight day, causing dangerous flooding and power outages. the rain came down so hard, it caused this manhole to explode.

drainage systems were overwhelmed as some areas received over 10 inches of rain. several streets became impassable, leaving people stranded and needing to be rescued by boat. at one point, 14,000 customers were without power. rain remains in the forecast throughout the weekend and into next week. adding insult to injury, bge customers are charged up over a small fee for service they didn't get over the latest wind storm. though they didn't have power, they still had to pay a surcharge on their bill. >> reporter: a lot of tall streets surround mrnie waters' home, which explains why he she loses power o a lot. now she's angry to learn that state law allows bge to add a bill stabilization fee under the distribution portion of the

bill. >> i think 6 is way beyond pain and suffering, and now i have to pay them for my pain and suffering? >> i think the commission tried to strike the balance between ensuring that the utility repain financially strong and can financially reinvest in its system the poles, the wires, and that type of thing, while at the same time making sure the customers are not unnecessarily financially burdened during a power outage that goes on for days. >> reporter: for most customers, the fee may be less than a dollar. consumer advocates say it may just be pennies, but it makes no seven. >> they've seen they can get away with it and have done it time and time again. they need to focus on how they can prevent this from happening again. >> reporter: customers know the fee won't break their bank account, but marnie says she lost money because of the power
