meant for his threats to be theyen seriously. >> reporter: s.w.a.t. teams raid this apartment complex, and what they found surprise everyone. >> it's hock and scary. >> it hits close to home. >> reporter: police confiscated an arsenal of guns and thousands of runds of ammunition they say belong to this man, 28-year-old neil edwin priest county. >> i think we're surprised by the amount and types of weapons inside that residence. >> reporter: police say prescott had called his supervisor and threatened to go on a shooting rampage. we have learned he was in the process of being fired. >> he said, i'm the joker. >> reporter: the batman reference setting off alarm bells for police. >> we take all threat seriously. if you're going to make a threat, we will take action. >> reporter: a friend spoke out

on prescott's behalf, saying he may have had the stash because he collected weapons. the friend went on to say priest cot was a -- prescott was a gent the giant. neighbors talked about his calm demeanor. >> he was very quite with quiet, kept to himself. his parents wanted him to go to college, but he decided just to be a computer geek. >> reporter: he is currently undergoing a psychiatric evaluation. charges are still pending. >> i believe we've prevented some serious violence that could have happened and potentially saved lives. >> reporter: prescott's mental health evaluation could take up to a week. after that, he could face formal charges. >> police are considering both state and federal charges. meanwhile, e three people killed during the movie

massacre in aurora, colorado, are laid to rest today. hundreds of mourners highlighted their heroism and remembered the lives that were cut short. >> reporter: her home state's flag flew at half-staff as jessica ger hawi's friends and family who in order her life. >> he never lived without passion and she will never stop amazing me as she lives on in our heart and souls. >> reporter: there were tears for the 24-year-old with a passion for hockey, and some laughter, especially as this video played that showed her falling on the ice in her first interview. she narrowly survived a shooting in toronto last month, but was one of 12 killed in aurora, colorado. >> lenot focus on him. it's all about the victim. ledo what we can to remember them and just share their

first, thunderstorms. we had a lot of them in some area, and some people didn't get anything. now, we're seeing a few more firing pup let's go to first warning doppler radar. these are drifting down to the southeast. we'll see if they hold together for the city itself. you're seeing mound aries getting a storm on the periphery of westminster. all of that will continue down to the southeast. now, we're going to take you back in time here. these just popped up over the last half hour, bringing down a band of energy from the north. those have since moved over the beaches, and they will be moving out to sea. let's switch it over and show uh-uh the cold front make its way across maryland. you can see some people remaining completely dry, and some people got between one and two inches of reason. the reason the storms didn't move all that quickly is
