(giggling) wow! ant sure is good at hide-and-seek. phew! (giggles) yup. i sure am goo...

oh, oh, oh! (groans) (giggling): oh, there you are, ant. yo. (clears throat) (laughs): yup, here i am. a-n-t-- ant! (chuckles) you are the best hide-and-seek player ever! (chuckling): oh, stop! you're too much! well, who's better than you, little buddy? well, it helps to be small and made of letters. (giggles) uh, can i get a little help? hey, who wants to play a little basketball with old bear, huh? oh, oh, i do i do, i do! it'll be sweet. well... i'll take... pick me! pick me! pick me! say pig, say pig say pig! bear: pig! yes! all right! both: oh! i'll take...

oh, please please, please. pick me, pick me pick me! come on, come on! frog: sheep! oh! oh, thank you for picking me but i think you mean... air sheep! (wind whistling) okay, let's play! (excited chatter) hey, what about me? hello? hello! oh, sorry, ant. i didn't see you there. you're on my team. come on. uh, thanks. (sighs) the smallest one is always picked last. narrator: and because ant was so small basketball wasn't very easy for him. look out! coming through. excuse me. ooh. excuse me! (grunts)

(sighs) huh? oh, no! oh, no! air... sheep...! (all talking excitedly) (giggles): i'm bad, you know it. and by bad, of course, i mean, good. (giggles) (panting): hey, bear, i'm open! over here! i'm open! alley-oop! (laughs) hmm? oh, man! oh! so, what do we do now? hmm. (gasps): how about lunch?! oh, sweet! (giggles) lunch is one of my three favorite meals! how about you, lit... oh, hey, is something wrong, little buddy?

(slurps) wrong? yeah, something's wrong. (cries) i'm tired of being smaller than everyone else. (blows nose loudly and sniffles) aw, but you're just perfect the way you are, little fella. (cries) you don't know what it's like to be little! i want to be big! huge! like a ... like a giant! hey, gi-ant! sounds like there's an ant in giant. gi-ant! actually, there is. look. this is the word "giant." giant. and this is the word "ant." a-n-t. ant.

so there's an ant in every giant? huh. who knew? narrator: well, this gave our little friend ant a very big idea. so, just by adding the letters g and i, an ant could become a giant? (gasps) hey, does anyone have the letters g and i? huh? do ya do ya? here we go! g-i... a-n-t. (laughs) that-that... that tickles! that tic... oh! whoa! whoa! kids: giant! (all gasp) (laughs) that's right i'm giant! (giggles) check me out! wow, little... i mean, big... buddy.

uh, you're huge! this is what it's like to be big! i like it! (laughing): okay. now let's play some b-ball! narrator: and this time, being a giant made a big big difference. (frog and sheep gasp) coming through. excuse me. both: yeah! pig & bear (chanting): gi-ant! gi-ant! gi-ant! gi-ant! (croaking) can we play something else now? well, how about hide-and-seek? (giggling): oh, yeah! i'm the best at that game! one, two, three four five... (croaking) six... seven... eight...

nine... nine and a half... ten. ready or not, here i come! come out, come out... ...wherever you are. uh, i found you, giant. hey, how did you do that? i'm the best hide-and-seek player ever! well, i guess you're a lot easier to find now that you're gi-ant. oh. i guess this being big isn't always the best thing. hmm. you're it, giant. (sighs) one, two three, four, five, six... whoa! ...seven... hey! eight, nine, hey, i'm stuck! ...ten!

help! help! narrator: so, everyone gathered to help their friend, pig. well, maybe we could try pulling him out. great idea sheep. come on, everyone! let's give it a try! (all mumbling) that's what i call one stuck pig. oh, well, maybe if someone pushes me up from the bottom? you mean underneath? but that's underground! nobody can fit down there! (gasps): wait! ant could get into the hole from his anthill and push pig from underground! hey, ant, you... oh. i forgot. you're giant. huh. never mind. oh! uh, but, frog, if memory serves, you said, "there's an ant in every giant." right! giant still has the letters a-n-t in him. you mean, you need me to be a-n-t, ant again?

that's about the size of it. will you do it? oh! anything for my buddy pig! oh, good! then all we have to do is... build a word! or unbuild it! let's do it! all (singing): ♪ it's time to build a word ♪ ♪ let's build it, let's build it now... ♪ a... n... t... kids: ant! (laughs) yep, it's me, ant! i'm back and small as ever! ♪ yeah, we just built a word ♪ ♪ we built it, we built it. ♪ hang on, pig i'm a-comin... (panting) aha! (panting)

you just have to follow the recipe and put things in the right order. hmm, let me just check my cookbooktionary. ah, yes! first you take the letter p. p! then comes the letter o. o! mm-hmm. and don't forget the letter t! t. kids: pot! that's right! pot! whoa! (gasping) that pig sure can cook. ooh! hey... i know we're supposed to be making corn, but... this is my favorite pot for... eating ice cream! mmm. pig!

aren't you supposed to eat ice cream on an ice cream cone? well... maybe that's how you do it, ant but, for me, nothing gets the job done better than a big old pot! (giggles) (sniffing) um... pig... (slurping) (slurping) hey, something's missing. chocolate sauce! so good, so good. pig! hey, who turned out the lights? whoa! (squealing) man, that is one stuck pig! ant? is that you? pig! you have a pot stuck on your face!

i have to trot in a duck race? (groaning) whoa! (crash) uh... hello, everyone... we're currently experiencing some... (crash) ...technical difficulties. (giggles): but we'll be back in, uh... five minutes? (soft music playing) technical difficulties? oh, dear. i had better go down there and see if i can help. good luck, sheep. she's going to need it. narrator (chuckling): pig's in luck because sheep lives right next door. pig. pig. are you okay? (crashes) ant, you know, i saw you were having a little, um... trouble. can i help? well, pig's face is stuck in a pot. (squeals) trace my truck in a dot? (snorts, squeals)

(crashes) oh, dear. (grunts) pig! whoa! listen! your face is stuck in a pot! my face is stuck in a pot? well, no wonder i can't see. why didn't you tell me, ant? (groans) (grunting) man, this thing is stuck. but what about the show, ant? what are you going to do? well... i've got no star and the show starts again in... (gasps) ...three minutes! oh... i don't think there's going to be any show today. what? no show? what about pig? pig! can you still cook?! oh, sure. the show must go on, sheep. whoa!

(grunting) what do they put in that chocolate sauce anyway? oh, i don't think pig can do it, sheep and there's no one here to take his place. (gasps) unless... can you take over for pig? me? cook? (gulps) on... tv? um... i don't know. (stammering): pig is so very very good at it and all and i, i personally have never... ant: you ready, sheep? uh, you know what would really help? uh, well i'm thinking a chef's hat. a chef's hat would really help me pretend. well... pig's wearing the only chef's hat. trouble is he's wearing the pot on top of it. oh. narrator: see, sheep likes to use costumes to help her pretend, but this time it looks like she's going

to have to be plain old sheep. oh... uh... oh. ooh. i don't think i can do it, ant. you have to, sheep. you have to believe in yourself. if you believe in yourself you can do anything. even without a costume? mm-hmm, even without a costume. right. believe in myself. you'll be fine. the show starts again in ten seconds, sheep. okay, sheep, here we go. in four, three, two... welcome back to the cooking with chef pig show featuring today's special guest chef sheep! (whispering loudly): do something. uh... hi.

welcome to, uh cooking with chef pig. (laughing): i'm not... pig. i'm sheep and i am standing in for... for chef pig today because, well... pig has a pot stuck on his face. bonjour, mes amis. had to happen sooner or later. (giggles) and today's recipe is, um, uh, c-cob on the... oh! (giggling): corn on the cob. first we need a pot. (gasps) oh, no. (whispering loudly): ant, we don't have a pot. i told you i couldn't do this. it's okay, sheep. keep calm. remember, believe in yourself. oh... (giggles) that's funny. now let's see. corn. c-o-r-n. corn. hmm.

here's a c, there's an r and there is an n. uh-oh. we're out of os. hmm. (gasping): there is an o in the pot on pig's head. do you mind, pig? oh, b-be my guest. (grunts) (gasps) i can see. i can see! (gasping): pig! oh... that's great. now you can do the... show... again. aw... no, sheep, you do it. put this on. (giggles) well, that's okay, pig. i have discovered, you see that i don't really need it. this time it's just me-- plain old sheep. narrator: and so sheep follows the recipe. she puts the letters... c-o-r-n... together in the right way and makes...

kids: corn! aw... i knew you could do it, sheep.
