lowell? tellis the john joseph wilson of dundalk may have been years,ing these four which sometimes netted him $10,000 a pop. it all caught up to them last night when police finally were able to raid his dundalk home. man, 54-year-old john joseph wilson, may be responsible to -- four over 20 robberies. a serial armed robber brought down by witnesses. according to investigators, wilson was responsible for robbing a post office three times as well as inks in --lston and belair and group various grocery stores in baltimore county. for each the same mo one of them, whether it was the post office or the grocery store. days came to an

end after he hit the post office up for a third time. >> brandished a revolver or a shotgun, then goes through the cash drawers or the safety of chain money. >> the witness was able to get a real good description of him and his vehicle and license plate. >> he left the front of the building. he was sought by that witness who gave us a good description of him and his vehicle. statey police say that -- police say that wilson, who was armed of the time, took a shot at the witness and missed. investigators gathered evidence and arrested him wednesday night at his dundalk on. means a cleaning of the robbery docket that dates back several years. >> it turned out to be a very intense investigation over time.

some of the date of the robberies date back to 2010. >> he has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery, and attempted murder for shooting at that witness. he is eating health without bond at this point. it is unclear whether he will -- he is being held without bond at this point. -- unclear clear whether he will face federal charges for robbing the post office. >> a couple are accused of a stream of armed robberies. but now they are behind bars. detectives tell us this started back in august when the pair pulled a gun on another couple. since then the two are accused of five more robbery through october 2. in each one of them, at least one was armed, stealing cell phones, credit cards, and cash.

state police are looking into whether they're public enemy morer one is related to criminals. christopher goode faces charges of attempted murder in connection with the stabbing of the mother of his children last month. >> new questions in the death of a woman in baltimore county two days after she fell from a structure. jayne miller is live in the newsroom with an update. >> the county executive took a question about this case as a lawyer for the woman's family says there is no question that the transport led to her death. >> what went wrong? we know something went wrong because the result is out of the ordinary. >> charles tillman is the lawyer for the family of the 72-year- old woman who died two days after being injured when the structure fell after being

loaded into an ambulance. the woman was a diabetic. the ambulance was called to the nursing home where she was living. the fall caused a serious injury. >> we have a woman being transported, nursing him to a hospital and on the ways she got a head injury. we believe the head injury is what killed this woman. estate account called the injuries "minor." she complained of headaches for the two days before her death. >> one of her sons said that she was seeing spots, which to me is consistent with a head injury. she did not have ahead energy when she left the nursing room. >> a source familiar with the incident said that these structure may have fallen due to previous damage to the stretcher, preventing it from locking in place. a county executive asked today if all of the county's ambulance equipment should the inspected.

the next governor. house speaker michael busch is endorsing lieutenant governor anthony brown in his race to replace governor martin o'malley. bush calls him a born leader with a reputation for getting things done in annapolis. the houseupported by speaker. doug running against gansler for the nomination. medical alert, the national institutes of health says it has enrolled 12 critically ill patients into medical studies in spite of the government shutdown. it typically admits 200 patients a week into its studies, but employee furloughs force them only to admit those called "crisis situations." most are suffering from cancer.

doses to students and they believe that the numbers will continue to rise. the flu is the last thing on the mind of these students, but many of them will be among the thousands of students systemwide lining up for the flumist in the next week or so. the vaccine is given to children from the ages of two to 9. >> we are preventing the spread children getting these vaccinated with the flumist. then they are not spreading the flu at home. they are not spreading it to their classmates. it's really making a difference. the flumist started showing up in anne arundel county school seven years ago and appears to be catching on with students. have taken it many times. when i was in kindergarten, i was afraid of it because i thought i was going to get a

>> the baltimore running festival this saturday, it will be impossible to miss about 100 runners decked out in purple. it is team in training, of global charity that has raised millions in cancer research. you may not know that the founder is from baltimore, a guy who got the idea from his daughter and ran with it. is passing the baton. this is a story about a baltimore dad and his daughter. and georgia. it starts when she was four years old, when she was diagnosed with the kenya. -- when she was diagnosed with leukemia. >> 50-50 was her chances when she was diagnosed. run thet the idea to new york city marathon. he recruited friends and called it team in training.
