atlantic right now. it's going to be primary lay primarily a cloudy day, a beautiful sunny day tomorrow. first warning details coming up shortly. thank you marty. here's a look at the stories people are talking about. a u.s. air marshal is out on bail after admitting to a shocking crime on board an airplane. as rochelle ritchie explains, the man was on the clock when was had he was caught secretly snapping pictures under passenger's skirts. >> 28-year-old adam bartsch a federal air marshal from anne arundel county runs from news cameras after he is released from jail on a $10,000 bail after a man says he caught him taking inappropriate pictures of women on a plane. >> and he pressed a button and took three or four pictures. >> police say it happened on board southwest flight 3132 departing from nashville where bartsch was on duty. as the women walked past his seat a witness says he saw him

use a cell phone camera to take pictures underneath their skirts. >> the average person is looking forward because they're looking for a seat. they're not focusing on the guy's hand sticking out a little bit and taking a picture. >> the witness says he grabbed the phone and turned it over to a flight attendant. we tried to talk to bartsch at his home in crofton. neighbors say his actions show a lack of respect for his position and the lives he's hired to protect. >> that's a lot of responsibility, and yeah, i was totally shocked by that. you wouldn't expect that from a person in that position. >> the officials would not go on camera, but released this statement saying "tsa does not tolerate criminal behavior. the agency has removed this individual from his current duties. very little known about bartsch. neighbors tell us he has a wife and a child and appeared to be a model citizen with credibility. >> that's inappropriate. i mean if i want to wear a dress and i shouldn't be

worried if someone's going to be looking up there. >> investigators say bartsch admits he took about a dozen photos. i'm rochelle ritchie wjz eyewitness news. >> and bartsch heads to court next month. meanwhile police in the city are searching for the gunmen who shot a man just few feet from johns hopkins hospital. it happened yesterday evening in the 2,000 block of orleans street. an unknown suspect fired several shots, hitting the 22- year-old man. the victim died a short time later. no arrests have been made and police say they don't know what sparked the shooting. in new york a long island man is arrested accused in an al-qaeda terror plot. marcus alonso zea conspired with al-qaeda from the u.s. federal agents raided his home friday morning but say he has been under surveillance since 2011. he is being held without bail. the port of baltimore is back open for business this

morning. late last night union leaders say they reached an agreement to end a three-day strike, but as linh bui explains, the deal won't last for long. >> good morning. several issues were on the table ranging from safety to wages, but friday evening, a resolution was reached. >> the port of baltimore comes back to life after three days on the picket line for these long shoremen. >> as we speak, they're back on the ships, we had ships in the harbor waiting to go to work anxious to be unloaded and our people were ready to offload them. >> local 33 and the steamship trade association agreed to a 90-day cooldown. negotiations will continue but long shoremen can get back to work immediately. >> i think it's a win-win for everyone because we're back to work. >> after the 90 days, there could be another strike, but the union is confident they'll reach a fair contract. it's a relief for striking workers unsure about their next paycheck. >> you know, i'd rather work. believe me. that was much -- it's much easier to work than it is to go

on strike. >> the port of baltimore is the 9th largest in the nation and has a $6 billion impact on maryland. if the strike had gone on longer it would have had a massive impact on the state. >> keep this economy going, definitely great for the state of maryland. residents here. >> and the port reopens at a critical time with the busy holiday season right around the corner. >> the maryland port administration released a statement saying they are pleased with this resolution, that it's good for everyone who works at the port and they're glad to put this situation behind us. reporting, linh bui wjz eyewitness news. and that is good news because the port of baltimore handles about 30 million-tons of cargo every year. an under armour store in anne arundel county will reopen following a major gas leak in the building. a gas main break forced firefighters to evacuate this facility in curtis bay yesterday. firefighters believe crews were working on the building's heating system when they may have hit a line. no injuries were reported.

holding a grudge, months after the state started a new gas tax, drivers say they still do not like it, and as pat warren explains, a new poll finds that that sentiment could bring some big changes in next year's election. >> in one man's opinion,. >> it sucks. >> an opinion shared by a majority of marylanders who on july 1st saw the gas tax increase to $0.27 a gallon. >> it's ridiculous. >> nearly 76% of voters in a new gonzalez poll disapprove. >> i'm not happy with it at all. >> all they do is tax us to death anyway. >> 21% do approve. >> a couple extra pennys in exchange for much better roads and bridges is really a good way to spend our money. >> 2 .6% had no answer. the degrees of disapproval were also polled. >> i think it's the worst thing they could do, especially with the situation that people are in today. >> like ann battle, 69% strongly disapprove of the tax.

16.8% somewhat disapprove. a little like peggy mcnally. >> it angers me but i understand that we do need money for other projects. i'm almost i don't care anymore. >> and because taxes are always ammunition in an election year, more than half of democrats, nearly three quarters of republicans, and two-thirds of independents are thumbs town on the tax and the people who raised it. >> they're deliberately putting more burden on people than what is necessary. >> nobody's listening. they're just doing their own thing, and as far as i'm concerned, we need to get rid of the whole lot of them. >> additional increases approved this year will drive the tax up to $0.42 a gallon by 2016. pat warren wjz eyewitness news. >> aaa says overall marylanders are paying about $0.36 less for a gallon of gas as the same time last year. that's because of less demand and a plentiful supply of gasoline across the country. turning to sports now, one- half of the world series is set

after a blowout game in st. louis last night. this is what did it. >> world series bound! >> yes, they are. with that the st. louis cardinals purge their ticket to the world series. the cardinals crushed the dodgers winning the game 9-0. they'll have to wait for the winner of the tigers red sox series to see who they'll face in the world series. it is one of the biggest rivalries in the nfl, the ravens versus the steelers. the steel town show down is tomorrow in pittsburgh. sports director mark viviano has more on the big matchup. >> good morning. well the ravens are coming off that tough loss to the green bay packers last sunday, and in talking to the team this week, it is evident that they're tired of answering questions about what's wrong. they're anxious to show that they have the right answers when they play at pittsburgh on sunday. >> football is a game of adjustments and this week at

it's time to kick the beat up a little bit. welcome back, it's saturday morning. looking towards the francis scott key bridge and eastern shore. there's some clouds on that eastern horizon as the sun is coming up. these clouds will thicken through the day. right now it's in the mid-40s. cloudy going for a high of 66 late this afternoon and this evening. i think there could be some scattered showers. take a look at that five-day forecast. first warning style coming up in just a few minutes. first back to some of the other top headlines of the weekend. condolences are coming in from the political world after the death of bill young, the florida republican died yesterday just one week after announcing his retirement from the house of representatives. young served 22 terms in congress stretching back 43 years. congressman young was 82 years old and he is survived by his three children. elsewhere in florida, prison guards are starting new protocols after two men serving

life sentences conned their way out of jail. a man hunt is underway for joseph jenkins and charles walker. the men were let go when they submitted forged paperwork that ordered their release. it's not clear who forged those documents. and prison officials say starting immediately, judges must personally verify early release documents. prosecutors in massachusetts are urging a judge to show no mercy to a lab technician who jeopardized thousands of criminal cases. 34-year-old annie dookhan is accused of faking lab results throughout her nine years as a state chemist. prosecutors say her actions have compromised more than 40,000 drug related cases and will cost the state millions of dollars. defense attorneys shaddockdefense attorneys dookhan never meant to hurt anybody. >> i assume you're deluding yourself that you wouldn't be discovered or fined. i mean my god. >> dookhan is considering a guilty plea.

her attorney is seeking only a one-year sentence while prosecutors are asking for seven years. if you drive a toyota, the company is recalling thousands of vehicles for a very unusual problem. apparently, the car maker says spider webs can get stuck in a certain ac system causing a short circuit that can trigger the air bags to deploy. spider stow aways are so common that it's recalling more than 800,000 vehicles including 2012 and 2013 camrys, venzas and avalons. owners won't have to pay a dime for the repairs at their dealership. >> just imagine you're the guy, you know, some technician or researcher at toyota, and your job is to find out why these air bags are going off. now you got to go to your boss, dude, sit down, you're not going to believe this. it's spider webs. imagine your day at work that day. >> if you just bought a 30, $40,000 vehicle and you hear

cages to go into the harbor. >> few people would realize or know that the harbor used to be filled with oysters w. it was clean it was clean in large part because oysters were doing that work. >> that work is filtering water. oysters strain out things like algae which is oyster food and as it happens algae is one of the things the harbor has plenty of. in warm weather it blooms into mahogany tides that die off into dead zones. the source. >> storm water pollution. that's what washes off the land into the harbor. it causes algae blooms. >> enlisting school kids to local businesses, cages to stock oysters are the latest tool to make the inner harbor swimmable and fishable by 2020. >> we don't expect them alone to clean the harbor. we wish they could. >> returning to the harbor means returning to some big challenges. >> some of those are the fresh water inflows. some of those are low dissolved oxygen that occurs here at times of the year. >> in spite of the odds, backer of a cleaner harbor believe.

at 7:30. interestingly enough, overnight high clouds are now busted up a bit on the eastern horizon and we're getting some sun. this is not going to be a real sunny day, though. take a look at the day part. by midday i think we're overcast, 66 degrees going to be the high this day, and that will pretty much happen right at lunchtime. we'll have your full first warning weather forecast coming up shortly. thank you marty. here's a look at the stories people are talking about this weekend. a former patient of a local ob/gyn speaks out to wjz about her doctor's suspension after federal agents find what appear to be patient pictures on his phone. dr. john yacoub is also under investigation for taking and distributing dangerous drugs. meghan mccorkell has more. >> good morning. dr. john yacoub practiced medicine here at maryland for 30 years with thousands of patients, but now his license is suspended. >> suspicions arose around dr.

john yacoub after officials say a staff member noticed large amounts of controlled dangerous substances this his office, drugs he was not authorized to prescribe. when hospital administrators went to look for the drugs yacoub said they'd somehow disappeared. according to a board of physicians suspension order obtained by wjz that led to his termination from st. agnes hospital in november of 2012. the board of physicians began an investigation, twice during this past summer, yacoub tested positive for cocaine use. last month the dea raided his towson apartment. they found prescription drugs and traces of cocaine. on the doctor's phone they discovered pictures of women's genitalia, many with nearby medical instruments and a gloved hand. >> i would have never expected it from him. >> tina adcok has been a patient for 22 years. he delivered both of her children. she's in shock about the pictures allegedly found on his phone. >> i don't know like how because whenever i was like,

you know, you would go in to get examined there was always a nurse there. so i don't know how he could have done it. >> the case bears striking similarities to that of dr. nikita levy. the johns hopkins physician took his life after police found evidence he was videotaping his patients. the investigation sparked outrage from women's groups. >> it is the ultimate violation. it angers me. i mean for something like this to happen. >> a suspension hearing for dr. yacoub is set for next week. >> dr. yacoub leased office space with gbm but he was not an employee of the hospital. meghan mccorkell newsmeghan mccorkell wjz eyewitness news. >> according to the suspension order, dr. john yacoub is also accused of having a sexual relationship with a patient. in anne arundel county, police are searching for three masked men who allegedly beat and robbed an elderly couple
