should be for an early morning low. the early morning low on average this time of year is 49. we are at 47. it is a little cooler north and west. cool enough for the big coat in marion county at 39. again, we are a little closer to where we should be after being well above that average for so long. we are at 43 in palm coast. 52 in cocoa beach. it will be colder tomorrow morning. that is why there is a freeze watch in effect until tomorrow morning because of the colder air in marion county. only marion county is under that freeze watch, meaning temperatures likely to go below freezing or right at freezing between four and eight hours. it could be an issue. for us in many other parts of central florida. we'll see temperatures warm with sunshine, getting up to 59 degrees at noon. 63 at 4:00. 10 degrees below 71 in many spots.

four decades. the muse coming on facebook overnight that he had passed after an 18 month battle. his publicist isn't giving out any other information, instead asking for privacy. news of bowie's death has triggered reaction all over the world. idol said, nearly brought to tears at the news of bowie's passing. another weighed in saying he was a master of reinvention who kept getting it right. bowie was 69 years old. he had just released his most recent album this past friday. >> a car hits and kills a man. this morning, troopers say the driver who did it could face charges. the victim was hit along pine hills road, north of silver star.

live. what do we know about that victim? >> troopers tell us they are still trying to confirm the man's identity. ept to show you video from the scene. we know the name of the driver involved in this. troopers say vincent mcgori was driving northbound on pine hills road. that's when he shut the person standing at the turn lane. you can see troopers blocked off this area as they try to piece together what happened. we are coming back live. vincent may be facing charges according to troopers. troopers are not saying what those charges can be. they are investigating whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash. this is a developing story. i'll pass the update on air and

three people did receive minor injuries with initial damage estimates. the governor said the state will do everything it can to help the people in that area get back on their feet. >> the highway patrol said one driver was so bad ly badly ly ly injured, they can't identify identify. the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. troopers say the crash is under investigation. >> it was a close call here for another driver in volusia county who nearly ended up crashing into one family's pool. firefighters posted these pictures online. they say the driver lost control and went through a fence. as you can see, almost wound up in the water at this home. firefighters were able to stabilize the car to keep it from going into the pool. relatives posted the driver may

>> now to a crime alert coming out of brevard county as detectives try to figure out if several recent robberies could be connected. the most recent case happened this weekend when investigators say a man with a long gun walked into the 7-eleven in melbourne and demanded money. this is video from our news partners at florida today. we know no one was injured. two weeks ago today, a robber with a similar gun hit a kangaroo express, this time in palm pay. last month, investigators say there were two other similar robberies in palm bay and melbourne. anyone with information on any of these crimes is asked to call the sheriff's office. >> time is running out to make sure you have health insurance or face a big fine. today local volunteers are helping keep people signed up and they are going to get a visitor from washington to help out. sylvia burrel will visit. you have until january 31 to get health insurance.

>> authorities have put out baby. they are hoping someone with information will come forward and contact investigators in jacksonville. >> a micht mystery unfolding. ashley olsen is from summer haven and that's just north of palm coast. she was found dead in her florence apartment this weekend. investigators say it appears she was strangled to death. her boyfriend has been questioned by authorities but let go. >> in marion county now, animal rescue crews are now helping more than 100 dogs all left without homes. the humane society took in 106 dogs over the weekend. they decided to help out after crews put out an urgent apply saying they were overrun with animals because of the flooding. many of the dogs will be available at the humane society. animal rescue workers from
