we really are right around where we should be. for what we forecasted today. the average is 71b0 and we are still below what we should be. we are at 62b0 in orlando and 57 in ocala. we will have her here for the next few hours. it's right on the low 60s and we will begin to cool down to 61 at 4:00. there is no rain today but rain chances are rolling and by the end of the week. we will talk about timing for some storms and a warm-up straightahead . >> orlando police are helping keep people warm. was another cold morning on the way, the department is selecting coats and blankets for the homeless. they are telling us how they are getting results for the community. they kept busy with all the donations pouring in here in downtown orlando. everything you see here is coming together because of the need one officer saw on the streets.

lot of homeless people here. orlando police are hosting their first ever blanketed coat drive through. it's an idea inspired by deputy chief robert is way to. a homeless man trying to keep warm with a sheet prompted him to do something. he was so appreciative of what we did. the action led to the department calling on the community for help. have to catch the bus with my children. i wanted to donate. the giving is extended for those working the drive. this officer donated the gloves off of his hand to someone that can use the more. if i can give something away to help someone else b that's what i do. some of these folks are going to the coalition of the homeless and others will go in

>>bridgett: today, a judge will decide about a teenager running over in orlando officer . the evidence is all circumstances. he wants to be released and his attorney argues that the evidence is not clear that he intended to get the officer. the judge says she wants to review the dash cam video before making a decision. it could come today. we will keep you posted. opening statements will begin the retrial for one of the teenagers at the heart of one of the most infamous crimes in marion county history. they report that lawyers in the amber wright trial agreed on a field of eight jurors. she is facing eight charges in 2000 eight death of seth jackson. the 19-year-old reared him to a home where he was shot several times and burned in a fire pit.
