here, that's when i heard people running on concrete. >> reporter: richard says he was outside when he heard car tires screeching in a garage just a couple houses over. he saw two guys running towards his house. one like the man in this sketch. he tells us it happened so fast he sprung into action and try ed to chase them down. >> obviously i didn't recognize them. i knew they didn't live here. and people that are doing no wrong don't have hoods on their head and run away and don't answer you and run around with duffel bags. police say the two men broke into the 85-year-old woman's home. she woke up top see them bedroom. one guy beat her and eventually neighbors heard the commotion and called 911. >> looks like he tried to rob her house and vehicle. >> i did not attempt to go inside because the men were in the car. i ran aback because i didn't know what they were capable of.

man found floating in the river died. a man on a fishing dock discovered 42-year-old walleter in the water. investigators say they are not sure how long he'd been in the water. his family said they last saw him thursday and reported him missing monday. new at 11:00 a child accused of steel ing a is school bus. the leesburg high school is where it happened on a el low jacket way. the bus driver was preparing for a field trip. she took a quick bathroom break, and when she came out, that bus was gone. they tracked down the bus and the child using the vehicle's gps. so far school officials aren't releasing details about that child, but the bus was damaged. now to a crime tracker alert at ucs. they need help tracking down a
