police are trying to find the driver that abandon a car following a crash in front of this church. detectives are searching for human remains in lake county.

this . i am bridget ellison >> we will have those stories shortly. troy bridges is here and he is pinpointing the chilly weather for all of us as the cold front moves through. we watch the cold front moves storms in. working in. it's even colder tomorrow morning. it's on into wednesday morning at 9:00 and there's a freeze watch and affect for sumter county. temperatures are at or below freezing in the region. it goes into the next few mornings for a few hours. we started at 43 in orlando. we rebounded just a little bit. we are in the 50s at 56b0. it's 52b0 at palm coast. 54b0 in ocala and mild in brevard county. cocoa beach is at 60b0.

today and we will make it up to 62b0 by 3:00. there is a bit of a breeze and it wont feel that warm. temperatures drop off and we will see temperatures through the day at 59b0 by 5:00 . temperatures dropped even colder tonight. it's again the next night and we will see how much more the cold air we have to deal with and how cold it will get . >> a major cleanup is underway in manatee county. a deadly storm ripped through the area killing two people. that brought wind and rain into central florida and they say a tornado spawned by those storms toward three mobile home. it killed a husband and wife. as you can see, not much is left behind of the home. forecasters estimate that the wind is up to 125 miles per hour. another tornado touched down in

damaged so badly by the storm that two people had to be pulled out from the rubble. dozens of other businesses and homes suffered damages. sarasota county officials are estimating the damage from the storm around $3 million. flying high over county. police say they responded to a well-being check after someone said they hadn't seen their neighbor. that evolved into a missing person investigation. detectives are searching for possible human remains. eric sandoval is working to get the answers and he will have more as the story develops. >>david: detectives are looking at a violent investigation with two armed men broken and threatening mom and her child on hardwood street . that is off of john young parkway off of colonial drive . mom who says she begged the men to spare her life. >> the victim says the only reason she opened up the doors

when they barged into the house here, they threatened everyone inside including an 11-year-old. friends and family came to visit the family that lives here on hardwood street after a horrific night . >> they terrorized us and i am a mother b please don't kill me. the victim wanted to remain anonymous and she says when she heard the knock she thought she heard her neighbor's voice. she says she opened the door and that's when the two armed suspects barged in. they forced her to wake up her family and bring them to the kitchen and demand money. he said you know what i'm talking about. the guy was in the kitchen and he said kill the baby, kill the baby. i hovered over the baby and i said please, no. the suspect realized something wasn't right . >> i heard one in the kitchen whisper something and they started backing out with the

i said i am not. >> orlando police say they took off in a gray impala . these guys are still on the family say they want justice. >> i pray to god that they them up . you live by the gun and you die by the gun. god says that. the only thing the victim told wearing dark clothes and they had their faces covered. police are asking for your help . if you have any information, call orlando police. in orlando, johnny fernandez, news 6. >>david: a car hit a pole and a tree outside of a church. they still don't know if anyone was hurt because they say the car was abandon around 1030 last night. police responded on kennedy boulevard and they say the building was not hit or damaged.

so there aren't any witnesses to this crash. right now, detectives are searching for the driver to get some answers. >>bridgett: a man will be back in court. he will face a judge for the first time since the tech tips found what they believed to be the remains of 21-month-old barton. they led investigators to the scene the day before he was supposed to go on trial. he is facing additional charges. her remains were found one week ago today , six months after he disappeared. he was dating the toddler's mother. just days away when it plans when it comes to plans for the new western beltway.

two men in the gulf of mexico and happen yesterday and the scene was pretty dramatic. the coast guard crews say the bolt started sinking trapping them during the storms. the coast guard teams were able to find them and pull them up to safety despite 20 foot seas . new developments in iraq after several civilians went missing. they are searching for three americans who were reportedly kidnapped while at their interpreters home. there were going to the airport when they were taken. officials with the state department say they know about the reports and they are working with the iraqi government. present the national weather service say the radio transmission is back online. it was a failure at the worst possible time. >>david: that static is the only thing they could hear early yesterday as the storm hit . they say there was a phone line

lots of fun out there today as we show you the weather story. temperatures are dropping more than we saw this morning and 30s and 40s. by friday, we will pinpoint something. that, straightahead. we were at 36b0 in ocala and 39 this morning. 43b0 in orlando and 39 palm coast. 49b0 in cocoa beach. there has been a rebound but we are still in the 50s. the average high is 71b0. that's where we should be so we should be in the upper 60s and we are nowhere near that. tomorrow, we are even cooler at 54b0.56b0 in orlando we saw this one looks. enough for the jackets at 55b0 in daytona beach.

forecast . in the temperatures in the 60s. we are at 67 this evening and by tonight we are in the 40s. 45b0 by 10:00 with clear skies. forecast. tonight. for the most part, it's all about the cold air. early in the morning tomorrow b 33b0 in ocala and 38 and sanford. colder the next morning on tuesday warming up to 58b0. 38b0 wednesday morning and we will gradually rebound at 63b0 on wednesday and 70 on thursday. the next two mornings are the coldest that we have had. we talk about the afternoon highs in the 50s and last february was the last time it is in place.
