molesting one of his students. it happened six year ago when the girl was in his third grade class. but she only came forward last may. >> when someone's with you in a position of trust and they do that and violate you in that way, it could take quite a while to get the courage to come forward. >> the girl on revealed the abuse during counseling for post-traumatic stress. >> the allegations are he took her outside in a hallway and placed his hands inside her pants and molested her. >> reporter: but that same year in 2009, orange county public schools investigated sharp for other allegations from numerous other students. they complained sharp had them sit on his lap during class. but that investigation was only internal. police and dcf told news 6 they were never notified.

us about the improper allegations to the school boards. >> reporter: the school district closed their case and sharp resigned that year, writing a letter to the district, regretting what happened and taking full responsibility. >> even so, in that letter, police shay sharp down played what happened in that classroom back in 2009 and now is denying the most recent allegations and and also not cooperating with the police investigation. the school district told me tonight they are looking into all of this. lisa? all right, shaun chaiyabhat. thank you. now to that hunting accident. he accidentally killed his friend. and at this hour, deputies are still trying to get to the bottom of how this went down. the shooting happened this afternoon in the woods of oak hill in belusha county. it's west of i 95 and north of

sahh shell sanders is live with details. >> reporter: we've uncovered that the hunter who police say accidentally killed his friend had been in trouble for hunting violations before. police are calling this tragic. >> reporter: minutes after view shah county got the call he accidentally shot his friend in the oak hill hunting grounds, they set off for a search. swampland and dense trees would prove difficult for rescuers, taking nearly 30 minutes to make it three miles into the woods. >> when they got there, they found the victim deceased. >> reporter: when they arrived they found this man, 56-year-old lee shaun hutten. he was out hunting when he fired the wrong way. >> he used a shotgun like this. powerful enough to take down any wildlife. but instead it was his friend. >> reporter: the victim

knew him were upset when they learned of his death. >> anything like this is a loss of life is tragic for the families and friends and for the hunter who fired the shot. we feel for all of them. >> reporter: it wasn't summiten's first time in the woods. court records showed he'd been in trouble for hunting related violations before. now some of summiten's violations included killing game out of season. the sheriff's office major case unit as well from the florida fish and wildlife commission are now trying to figure out the circumstances surrounding this shooting. reporting live in belusha county, sash sash sahh shell sawners. we just learned of another dog attack. this attack happened on december 4th at a home on fox quarry lane. according to the police report, two people claimed they had been

at the home. a man bitten on his arms and legs and a woman injured trying to break up the fight. the dogs were turned over the animal control. yesterday police killed five dogs. they attacked five people inside a home at the stone brook apartments. one woman suffered severe bites to her arms and legs. sanford police told us there's no way to determine if the dogs involved in yesterday's attack are the same ones from december. a taste of what could be a record breaking weekend of weather. snow is starting to hit the nation's capital. and that's ahead of what could be the biggest blizzard in decades. take a look at what the president had to deal with tonight. this is andrew's air force base. heavy snow hitting the run way there. but the air force one landed safely. it wasn't an easier ride on the road. the president's motorcade shipped and skidded hitting curbs several times.

tonight a frustrated community is trying to get results and answers behind their soring water bills. >> families tell us they have seen their bills skyrocket. they took their concerns to city jennifer ortega was there as both sides squared off. >> reporter: people in the meeting tonight just upset high. the city council saying they're doing everything they can to lower those rates. >> i just want them to know that these are killing us. these are killing families. >> reporter: jacqueline says she's been living in st. cloud since last april. and noticed her new utility bill was drastically higher. teacher: problem started when i moved to st. cloud to kissimmee. it was no more than $32 a month. that was a high month. the minute i moved into st. cloud, i had a $129 water bill. >> reporter: she was concerned and took the problem to facebook. she found out she wasn't the only one. >> we thought it was isolated

that's how we started the page. >> reporter: the facebook page start ed to flood with comments. many with similar issues. >> usually i don't look at the utilities, i just pay it. the one bill caught my eye that it said that i used more irrigation. >> reporter: the city council went back and forth with residents tonight. everyone wanting to know one thing. >> do you feel like those rate wills go down at one point? >> absolutely. i'm looking at that already. our system was built in 2008. it's a different day. we need to look at how the systems and the rates were set up and adjust accordingly. >> reporter: the city council are telling residents this is not an easy fix. they still have dozens of meters to be installed. and once those are installed, they have to check the data to see if those rates could be lowered. in saint loud. jennifer ortega news six. an arrest tonight. a church theft. they caught the man that stole a woman's purse while she was praying.

we have told you before about university of central florida students helping to get results for the community by giving 3d printed arms to kids who need them. but now students are aiming higher to get results. that's right, they're hoping to print something much more complex. al human heart. news 6 anchor julie broughton explains.

right now is printing a 3d model of a heart. >> reporter: she's been practicing with this printer at ucf. she's making generic models of a human heart, and within months hopes to make custom heart replicas from customer's ct scans. >> it just translates the data into a form that the printer can read in order to make the correct motion so that you get an accurate print. >> reporter: the custom heart model will help doctors prepare for surgery. >> it'll provide more accurate operation and a faster operation. and that's going to deb good for kids with complex congenital heart disease. >> reporter: dr. william is working with ucf on the custom 3d printed heart. to replace this generic one size fits all doctors use in presurgery meetings right now. >> this is what we've had available to us now for 10-20 years. it's just a model of the heart.
