take a look. it's still raining pretty well. over here in belusha county near belusha and brevard. you guys haven't had a break nearly all night. better than an inch per house. a little less than that between minutes and titusville. we have a little rain coming from claire mont all the way to orange county. rain about a tenth of an inch per hour. there are more showers, and we still have a cold front coming during the day tomorrow. come take a look at this. the visibility is becoming a factor. only three mile visibility right now in the villages. seven in orlando, five in kissimmee. down to one mile visibility in cocoa beach. with all the rain we picked today, the low ceilings, the clouds, it's a visibility fog mess. i'll be back in a fewmy ies fewmies y -- few

i'll pinpoint this all in a few minutes. breaking news in orange county, at least two people are being taken to the hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning. this is happening at a home on governor's avenue near the pine hills area. fire rescues think a gas generator is to blame for this. we have a crew on the way. we'll bring you any new information we get during this newscast. >> we're also following breaking news in belusha county. they told news 6 tonight he will reopen his office in daytona beach after closing tot protect his employees. morgan gill re closed the office on north beach street after he says a homeless person accosted one of his workers. but tonight he told us he will reopen his office next monday. with an increased police presence. a homeless camp has been growing outside the building for weeks. the al vagus army has bussed some of the people to a near by shelter. today the city manager told us he is coming up with another 100 beds for a temporary shelter.

night of gonzalez. you remember her. the woman that once sued casey anthony is in jail. at seven, we broke the news of her arrest. now at 11:00 we learned she's accused of ripping off a cancer patient. jennifer ortega is at an orange county jail. jen, how did this happen? >> reporter: well detectives say gonzalez and her boyfriend stole that cancer patient's credit card back in december and used those to buy multiple things. 100s of dollars just for the holidays. >> they said they were desperate for money and so they took the card and they used it. >> reporter: detectives say gonzalez and her boyfriend stole the man's credit card from his room and went on a shopping spree around kissimmee. >> both gonzalez and her boyfriend were using that credit card while the individual was in the hospital. >> reporter: investigators say the two were staying and working at the motel cleaning car pets.

man's room. he got a call from the bank about suspicious transactions. nearly $850 spent at a near by 7-eleven. >> they were using their identityties, they were using the credit cards of a person they did not use. >> reporter: she claimed -- last september, the suit was thrown out. >> it was surprising to see that she was a suspect in our case. it wasn't until after detectives began investigating that they discovered that the night of gonzalez, the suspect in our case was connected to the casey anthony case. now deputies is say they show gonzalez using those stolen credit cards. a lot of the stuff purchased has been recovered and taken into evidence. both of them can bond out tonight at any time. all right jennifer ortega live. thank you.

tonight after a train hit a car. we broke the news at seven after the crash on the tracks hit monroe street in sanford. no one was hurt. so far, police haven't told us why this happened. no passengers were on the train that hit the car. a second train was about 30 passengers stopped in an ford while the investigation was under way. just in, video of a top take down in marion county. the sheriff is calling abusive. here's the video of august of 2014. the man running is derek price. he was wanted on drug charges. in the video, it appears he is your honor surrenders, and moments later they surround him and pin him down. some of them began hitting him. five deputies were suspended. four pleaded guilty in federal sentencing. the department of justice indict add fifth deputy on civil rights violations. tomorrow, marion county chris blare will hold a conference to

for one in the 1:00 in the afternoon. new tonight, an interesting twist. deputies hope this sketch will help solve a mystery that happened 30 years ago. shaun chaiyabhat got new details from detectives on how they're trying to crack this case. >> reporter: she's being called julie doe. for more than 30 years, her identitity and cause of death along this wooded sloth in lake county have remained a mystery. all that time, investigators and medical examiners thought the decomposed body was perhaps a mother who had given birth to one or more children. that is, until a few months ago. >> she was oranylly identified as a female. and it wasn't until 2015 that we got basically a letter in the mail from the lab. >> reporter: that's when detectives learned julie doe was a biological man. a transgender woman with manicured nails. bleached blond hair, a nose job, and breast implants. when her body was dumped in

have been among a small group of people living with gender reassignment. and that could help crack the case if police can find the doctor who performed the surgeries. now with the help of dna testing and social media, her case is taking on new interest by a public more aware of transgender people. >> do you think people back then had they been told, well we're looking for a man that goes as a woman, do you think that would have affected the case. >> i think there would be less interest back then. less than 27 years. her body still in a lab in gainsvill waiting to be identified. she's never received a proper burial. her family and friends wherever they are, they have no closure. >> reporter: investigators say all it takes is one person to recognize who that sketch is to closure in the case. in the meantime, they have sent out new evidence to labs for further dna testing.

all right, shaun chaiyabhat. reporting live. thank you. two big development tis in election 2016. the first is in florida. voters will get another shot to decide whether medical marijuana should be legalized. they tell news 6, it has collected enough signatures to put that issue back on the november ballot. the measure known as amendment two is 60% approval. it fell short in 2014 with 58% of the vote. meantime, donald trump is sticking to his word tonight. he says he is out of tomorrow night's debate. in fact he says he's made other plans in iowa. has the latest. >> to host a benefit for veterans across time. >> reporter: trump earlier demanded fox replace megan kelly who he claimed treated him unfairly. he blamed the press release for his reason for dropping out.

a carjacking is out of surgery. this is 80-year-old herbert doctor. he and a lace driver were attacked monday. the driver was strapping doctor in when another man, this guy right here, remember nay jumped inside the bus took the wheel and took off. both doctor and the driver were thrown around before he ditched the bus. he was later arrested. doctor had bruises on his face and bleeding in the brain. tonight they had surgery on his hip today. he has a long road to recovery. tonight, a casting controversy. >> why some are upset over who was picked to portray michael jackson. plus, airborne, a wild crash at a florida intersection sends a car flying into traffic. why the driver is now in some trouble. tom? >> the break, we're getting in the rain right now. big scattered showers moving away. there's plenty more marching in

>> reporter: in fact, by january 25th, his firm already recorded a 400% increase in divorce filings compared to january of last year. >> well it's a time for resolutions. and a lot of people who are in unhappy marriaged resolve to be happier (sherry said the january divorce filings increased over the last five years. this month, her firm has already seen divorce filings jump 25%. >> i've always wondered this. who files more, men or women? >> it's probably about equal. >> reporter: in 2014, orange county saw 502 divorce filings in january. peaking in march. the same is true in 2015. this year, though, that may change. >> now, a lot of people argue that the alimony laws are antiquated because they were based on when it was much more difficult for women to find jobs in the work force. >> reporter: stay lawmakers considering new legislation that

would calculate the alimony amount. range and duration. it's become a national trend. >> it hurts a lot of women who have been in long-term marriages and stay at home moms. it helps a lot of men who feel like even though their wives may have stayed home, their purpose is capable of going out and get ing a job. >> reporter: the alimony proposal is definitely a game changer. if approved, it could be a law on july 1st. we could see a new peak month for divorce filings. at least this year. caught on camera, a suspected dui crash. a traffic camera captured the moment a car bumped into another vehicle and flipped into oncoming traffic. a multicar crash happened early this morning near miami. it include add miami-dade police d a miami-dade police cruiser. the driver that cause ed the wreck claimed dui.

visibility's down nine miles in the villages. ten in leesburg. three in melbourne. and look at cocoa beach. visibility almost down to almost less than a mile. daytona beach has three mile visibility. and here six. unlit 63 for the overnight low this morning. today we rebound to a high of 67. where are we now? 65. so we've been flat stuck. basically in the middle 60s for 24 hours now. we're not going up. we're not going down. tomorrow kind of a repeat of today. except i think things won't be rough and rocking as far as rain fall goes. for differentials of temperatures since yesterday at this time, 4 warmer, but we've been in that same zone. between 62 all the wii audiotape to 67 and not beyond. overnight tonight, we get fog and showers returning. periods of rain returning too. heavy embedded showers. by friday, we're clearing and
