kids have the jackets at the bus stop, there is no need for any rain gear. no need for the umbrella heading out. clearing skies, plenty of sunshine. 63 will be the temperature at noon. only getting up to 67 by 4:00. we'll talk about a warmup for the weekend. first, let's check on the roads and then head over to amy in the napleton traffic center. >> you are hoping it is going to be a quiet morning on the roads. you can see construction on the westbound side of i-4. picking up, not causing delays as you move past colonial, no major issues. drive times coming back on time. look at this, i-95, either direction. not going to be a problem. that's your check on traffic for right now. we'll send it back to you. >> the house fire in volusia county ends with a deadly discovery up the street after a man is found shot and killed. investigators are trying to figure out what happened to him, what started the fire and if the

>> the scene played out around midnight on river drive, north of state road 40. news 6 reporter kirsten o'connor is working to get answers about this. what did you find out when you got there? >> we just arrived a few minutes ago, police are still out here on the scene. you can see that just a few hours ago, this house behind me was just completely covered in flames. the fire department was trying to tackle that fire and the damage is still very apparently this morning. there are windows broken out. half of that house looks almost demolished. still a mystery, about why that fire started. the fire marshal has not said the cause at this point. deputies were here investigating at the same time. we want to give you video of what that looked like. the volusia county sheriff's office tells us deputies saw a man run ing fromthis house, then heard a popping sound and found him dead. firefighters trying to put out the flames say as they were

house, roads were blocked. >> the second set of eng had to to turn around and come from a different direction. >> we know deputies saw the man coming from this house out here. they aren't saying if he lived here. we have been asking questions about how the man died, if he was shot or if he took his own life. right now, deputies are saying it does appear to be self-inflicted his injuries but they are not saying whether he took his own life. we are reaching out to them to get answers this morning and try to figure out if they found a weapon at the scene. why the fire started if the man lived in the house. a lot of unanswered questions. we are working to get those for you. we'll have more in a half-hour. >> the search is on for two armed men who deputies say took off after shooting another man.

middle of an a neighborhood off hoffner avenue near semoran. the shooting happened outside near several homes. what is the latest? >> that is right. the shooting happened in this neighborhood behind me. deputies tell us the victim had to run to a family member's house right after he was shot. deputies say jose gonzalez was talking on the phone in front of this house when a white car pulled up. gonzalez said the passier got out and pointed a gun at him. when gonzalez went to push the gun from him, that's when he was shot to the arm. he ran to a family member's house and then that's when they called 911. we are coming back live. deputies tell us gonzalez had been arguing with the man earlier in the day. deputies have not released any

lurking, one that ruined their trip. they have retained matt morgan who says their clients plan to sue. they say a large snake fell onto and biting an 8-year-old boy. the boy's grandmother went into cardiac arrest and died. in an e-mail mor dpan said the grandmother began having symptoms of a heart attack at the pack, went back to the hotel and died shortly after. disney refute it is claims saying an ambulance never was called, it was a non-venomous snake that bit the child and the family went onto enjoy the rest of the day at the park. >> we are expecting to hear more from the family, get answers

disney has issued a statement about the impenting lawsuit. i'll bring you what they say coming up in my report at 5:30. >> we are working to learn the names of two teens. ormond peach police say richard conway left the car running. while he went to look at a dumpster. that's when police say a teen jumped into the car and drove off, dragging conway several feet before getting away. according to the news journal, two suspects were arrested after the victim's car was crashed into an unmarked cruiser. release. >> the sheriff in marion county said he is fighting for the community's trust after a fifth deputy was indicted. it shows deputies kicking and back. >> we'll won't let the actions of these individuals destroy the

>> the sheriff said he was outraged watching the video. wi asked sheriff blair what he thought when he saw this video? >> i can tell you, i did not leave that desk from where i viewed that video. i immediately made contact with florida department of law enforcement, that's how strong i felt that they haves outside the line. >> tough to watch some of that footage. some of the other deputies have pled dplt in court and they are waiting to be sentenced. blair said he expanded deputy training to address race and civil rights issues. >> jerry demmings said he'll meet with the aclu after a report from the group saying black drivers are more likely than white drivers to get tickets for not wearing seat belts. it is a story we brought you yesterday. the aclu said the problem is state-wide.

black drivers were three times as likely than white drivers for seat belt violences. the sheriff's office says it is checking the report for accuracy. a spokesperson said they are constantly looking at their policies and procedures. >> time is running out to make sure you have healthcare. the deadly is sunday night. the clock is ticking. you should the affordable care act people who don't have insurance by january 31 will have to pay a fine, unless they qualify for an exemption. those fines are not cheap. they can be as high as $700 per person. unlike last year, officials with the obama administration say there won't p any extension this time around. mugles expected for the harry potter convention. they are expecting gusts to take part in 25 activities including

are staying on top of breaking news overnight in volusia county a. mystery is unfolding after a body was found up the street from where crews battled the house fire. deputies tell us the man was seen running from the house after the fire. they say he may have taken his own life but they are not sure that's the case because the fire is also not yet known. kirsten is also at the scene working to get updates. she'll have another live report coming up at the bottom of the hour. >> a look at new video of law enforcement in oregon making a stop. it shows police shooting people accused of taking over a wildlife refuge. the group spokesman and three others, the truck swerves and barely misses officers. after that, fin gan gets up with his hands up. we'll pause it there because

>> for the second time in as many days a tornado blew over trees and left behind a mess. that tornado got too chose for comfort for church workers in delray beach. surveillance cameras were rolling when winds blew furniture across the courtyard a. man struggles to get inside for safety. six trees were destroyed. thankfully no one was injured. >> one of central florida's most famous sons is being called a hero. it is after legendary surfer kelly slater saved a woman and her son in hawaii. forever chris white says on wednesday a huge wave swept his wife and son away off of a highway in awahu. he said slater rushed in to save the two. he use the instagram to thank the pro-surfer. forecasters say they are getting the biggest swells of the season. extremely dangerous in those conditions. >> wow. >> running late happens, whether

times. >> many times it can lead to being late to work. people come up with creative excuses for being late. the survey asked hiring managers, what is the most outrageous late excuse you have ever heard? they included my hair caught on fire from my blow drier. there was fresh powder on the hill and i had to go skiing. a vaseline truck overturned and cars were slipping left and right. security. why the lies? the survey shows most of the actual reasons were boring for being laid. 50% get tied up in traffic, a third oversleep. and delayed dropping kids at day care.

into the future. have you seen the sky like this in awhile. we are seeing blue sky and sunshine. hardly a cloud in the sky through the afternoon. only warming to 63 at lunchtime. 67 at 4:00. a nice dry day, looking good to get outdoors, maybe have lunch outside. you'll need a jacket. 55 the temperature at 9:00. tonight at 11:00, we are at 51 degrees. cool and dry if you are making some evening plans, i'm sure you are, it is a friday. it is going to be a dry day and a dry night. we are excited about that. there's the clouds and rain forecast. 10:00 this morning, notice the gray here in southern sections. that would be osceola county and southern brevard, showing one or two high thin clouds. into tonight, looking good and clear. that will allow temperatures to drop off a bit. today into the afternoon, warming to 65 in ocala. 67 in orlando. 64 in daytona beach. 65 at cocoa beach.

we are below that by a few degrees today. tomorrow, lots of sunshine, warming us to 70. then we are up to 75 by sunday. look at the temperature here, early in the morning on saturday, dropping to 44. early in the morning on sunday, dropping to 49. for the weekend mornings, it is going to be chilly. chilly enough for a coat and a nice rebound each afternoon with no rain across the board for friday, saturday or sunday, monday. just for good measure, we added in a 10% chance for rain. a high of 77. 80 on tuesday. then rain chances return for wednesday at 30%. let's check on the roads now and head over to amy in the napleton traffic center. amy, any trouble? hopefully not on a friday. >> we are doing ok on this beautiful friday. love the look of the forecast. things moving out. clearing out construction at this point. here's one of those things i want to bring to your attention. it looks like on the southbound side we have the left lane
