we could get a taste of what a real winter day in florida is supposed to feel like. let' s get to meteorologist danny treanor with the latest. remember last weekend we were all bundled up? we are really settling into what is a pretty nice pattern. for the next 2 days, 2 weeks ago dealing with storms and last week dealing with chill. now a little chill. gainesville with 38 and we' ll warm things up rapidly but a little bit of cloud cover out there and people thinking about going to the races but by race time today, 68 flirting with 70 and even night is not all that bad. doing the light jacket with fog today and limited visibility but really for the most part it' s not a big problem. right now temperatures across central florida 48 in orlando. 47 in melbourne and 47 in

ll warm those up real nice. headed out on the boat and things are looking very nice. no advisories. good and favorable voting conditions. today temperatures out hour by . that is normal. tonight in the 40s and some area in the 50s. >> thanks so much. now to developing in seminole officer- involved shooting we' re told one person is in police custody. the shooting happened near 1792 in sanford just south of the 417. here' s news 6 reporter jennifer ortega. >> reporter: police are telling us a suspect is in custody and one person was rushed to the hospital with non- life threatening injuries. they had to block off a lot of the intersection to keep investigating and finding those details but here' s what we know.

the suspicious man with the firearm on 1792 and airport boulevard. when they got to the scene, matched that description. we' re told at some point shots were fired and police have not confirmed who fired first. involved shooting. fdle is on scene investigating those details. confirmed. we have learned from police that one person has been shot and taken to the hospital with the gunshot wound. they' re still not saying where that person was hit. but we do know those injuries are not life- threatening. at last check police are telling us it' s an ongoing investigation and that suspect is in custody. that' s the latest from sanford. jennifer ortega, news 6. >> justin: and that' s not the only crime. police say a woman carjacked a man. police were there as it got towed away. this is at south street and bumby. police tweeted out a mugshot of

danielle evans is now charged with armed carjacking. investigators say she and two men carjacked an elderly man at curry ford and conway. the car was spotted hours later on south street. witnesses told us that led to a shoot out. she was shot in the arm. two men are now in custody. all 3 officers opened fire. they' re now on administrative leave while the investigation continues. this morning deputies in seminole county are searching for the person who shot at a car killing a 15- year- old boy. it happened on 3:30 and altamonte drive just a few blocks from the boys and girls club from central florida and altamonte springs. harris was riding in the car on central street and someone standing in the road started shootingal them. harris died at the hospital.

seminole county deputies or the crime line at 1- 800- 423- tipsment new this morning deputies need your help finding destiny gray. she was last seen on woodridge park drive in orlando. we' re told her hair is braided and she may be wearing black- rimmed glasses like the ones you see here. if you see her, call the sheriff' s office. now to the major move outside of volusia county administration center. for weeks dozens of homeless have camped outside the building. now they' re somewhere else. the daytona police chief made it clear leave or get arrested. news 6 reporter shaun chaiyabhat has more on the weeks- long homeless controversy. from camping outside the county building to now the salvation army at capacity ending with the ultimatum. >> going to be arrested.

off the gulf of mexico. it could be a little bit of a problem. and not a big problem and it' s not perfect but it' s real close. sunny conditions today. look at these temperatures. 71 for the villages. 71 in kissimee. 68 at cocoa beach and tonight temperatures drop down in the 50s in brevard county and some 40s back into the interior. for the most part perfect. here' s that planning forecast. i said there' s going to be some bumps today and might have a little bit of fog and that could be a problem. and we' re going to start with the chance for rain. then it is going to the chance of rain monday night and be around for tuesday and then it' s going to work our way through the rest of the week and notice the cool air starts to filter in and that lack of temperatures and for the most part enjoy the weekend. we had a bad week but a great weekend.

orlando police tweeted out a mugshot of the woman late last night and danielle evans is now charged with armed carjacking. she and two men carjacked an elderly man at curry ford and conway. the car was spotted hours later on south street and witnesses told us that chase led out. she is expected to survive. she was shot in the arm. the two men are now in custody. police say all 3 officers opened fire and they' re on administrative leave while the investigation continues. this morning deputies in seminole county are searching for the person who shot at a car killing a 15- year- old boy. it happened around 3:30 on it' s just a few blocks from the boys and girls club in altamonte springs. deputies say 15- year- old tamar harris and someone standing in him. the car hit a light pole a short time later. harris died at the hospital.

litter box? >> ah h, litter box issues can be big problems! so putting the litter box in a location that is if you amready have a cat and you bring in a cat and they' re done with the incubation period and waiting for the contact, put them in the litter box and smell the smells in tlz and so this kitten, jem, is pretty big. more like 3 and we can navigate a tall litter box, but if you have a really small kitten, maybe a 4 week old or 6 week old, they won' t be able to navigate a tall lip on the litter box so make sure the size is appropriate for the animal. the other thing is going to use

at 2:40 this afternoon. 57 for tonight' s fireworks. again may be opening garages around midnight. 10 a.m. and things are looking great and 7:00 when the race ends. temperatures are - - not 7:00 but 2:40 and around 70 . this is what is on radar with the quiet morning and expect to stay that way and expect more of the same tomorrow. cold air should stay that way well away from us with the high pressure system as it migrates over to the east side of the state. we' ll turn the winds around and become more of the southeasterly direction. that' s not going to interfere with boating. it will stay on the dry side but we will see the return of some humidity. which could be a problematic monday morning which might even see a touch or 2 of fog. there are those clouds we' re talking about that may stream in off of the gulf of mexico occasionally and it should be high enough it just filters some of the sunshine and doesn' t block it out. and today as we go hour by hour, noontime today, yeah. it is 68
