that is your check on traffic. back to you. >> we continue to follow breaking news overnight in orlando where police say two people were shot and rushed to the hospital. >> investigators trying to figure out what pulled the trigger out there. it happened at summer gate, also conroy road. that's where we find kirsten live at the scene. what are police saying about the possible suspect there? >> reporter: we have been asking that question to police all morning long, whether there could still be a shooter on the run. we'll continue pressing them on that. what we know is they are investigating a car that was inside the apartment complex behind me. keep in mind, this whole road was blocked off between the condos. let's take a look at that car. this is what we saw on the scene, a tow truck with a black

condo complex followed by two crime scene vans. we asked police about the car. they said it is part of the investigation but wouldn't say who the car belongs to. sta start as a call around a suspicious incident. investigators were in both parking lot and had crime tape blocking off this road. two people were hurt. both were taken to the hospital. we are still asking police about their condition this morning. a lot of unanswered questions. we'll be sure to update you in another 30 minutes. >> new this morning, a deadly hang glader crash, a new york man was killed after deputies say he fell 35 feet to the ground. thomas of new york died while practicing last night. investigators say he was on his crash happened. right now, the incident is being ruled accidental.

information about the murder of this brevard county teacher. according to documents we picked up, sandra cook was afraid of her estranged husband. police say he killed her before taking his own life. those documents show ricky cook seen in a photo from a december arrest on grand theft charges had anger management issues. sandra cook filed for divorce in january. she asked for a restraining order. the paperwork was never formally filed. detectives say cook showed up at the couple's home on monday and shot and killed sandra before turning the gun on himself. the memorial sits outside rockledge high school where she worked. students are wearing purple to class because that was cook's favorite color. >> this orange county man behind me right here has been indicted on first degree murder and kidnapping. detectives say he killed his girlfriend, leaving her body in the trunk of the car. she called 911 from the trunk of the car and was on the phone with dispatchers when investigators say she was killed.

cell phone, deputies found her body a few hours later. >> we are getting a look at the moment one man accused of getting into a shootout with police was taken into custody. >> officers arrived with guns drawn to take shosmith into custody. police say smith was firing shots at drivers and fired at police when they showed up. one man walking by was shot. he'll be ok. >> in brevard county, a new look at this devastating fire that left a family's home in ruin. firefighters posted this video to facebook showing the flames shooting from the home on dover lane near deland. sky 6 was over the home minutes later. there is not much left. the family told the news journal

right the cause is under investigation. >> to a consumer alert. a major restaurant company reveals it has been the victim of a data breach. >> this means personal information of thousands of people in central florida may not be at risk. johnny is here. >> we are talking about a hack that lasted between march 20614 and december of this past year. it affected hundreds of people around the country. we checked and they have eight restaurants in central florida that includes bubble gum shrimp, mitchell's fish market and the yik yak at animal kingdom kingdom.
