>> a wild scene along orange blossom trail after gun fire erupts in the parking lot of a restaurant. two people were hit. deputies say one of them happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. kirsten is live. are detectives saying anything about who fired the shots? >> bridgett, deputies are still out here on the scene right now. i want to step out the frame they are inside the restaurant. there are a few people inside the restaurant as well. deputies are around this parking around. they are telling us they are looking for two men who got away after the shooting here in the parking lot of the restaurant where this all happened. two men were shot here last night. our cameras were rolling overnight as the ambulance drove

deputies tell us the two men are expected to be ok. investigators say one of the victims was arguing with the suspects inside the restaurant. when he left, the two men ambushed and started shooting at him. there were about 50 people in the restaurant add time. witnesses we spoke to say they heard about 20 shots. we know one of the victims was the man in the fight. police say the other man shot had nothing to do with this. he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. an undercover detective was driving by and heard the sound of gun shots. he was able to get out quickly and help those two victims. extra deputies are still on the scene talking with people and checking out that parking lot. lot. they are looking for two men, one in their 20's and one in their 40's. they have told us little information about the car they saw driving away from the area.

we'll continue to ask as this story is still developing. >> also breaking overnight, a dramatic rescue on the indian river in brevard county after a couple gets trapped in their sinking houseboat. police just sent us these pictures of the boat. you can see it slammed up against the sea wall. police say the boat started sinking in rough su f. crews had to break out windows to get to the 81-year-old man and woman inside. both were taken to the hospital but they are expected to be ok. >> in just hours, a teen accused of beating his 21-month-old sister to death could find out if he'll be charged as an adult. the girl was found responsive after she was left in the care of her 15-year-old brother. deputies say wall intentionally hit the girl. today's hearing is set for 8:30. we'll post updates on clickorlando.com. >> days after we told you about three credit card skimmers found at gas stations, police tell us

the count is up to four. all of the targets, seven-11, between highway 27 and 441. this is seven-eleven on west vine street. some customers say they are worried criminals are getting smarter. >> i'd like to slap the people that are overseas that pick up these scams. i had no idea this 7-eleven, you might stop me from coming on a regular basis. >> police say a good way to know if the reader has been tampered with is is to look and see if it is loose. they say the best bet is to use cash. >> crews will try to get an atlas 5 rocket off the ground from the cape. >> crews are worried about the weather today. mark lehman is live at space view park in titusville. mission managers say a cold front is is causing problems. what else are you hearing?

right now, odds are only at 30% favorable when it comes to the conditions we'll be seeing at launch time. the main issue is the wind, gusting from time to time. you can see it breezing in the trees. for now, the rocket sits on the pad. i want to show you a picture of the rocket. it is scheduled to be the first atlas launch of the year. it is sitting on the pad now as final testing is under way. earlier this week, they released a picture of the satellite carrying the satellite added to a gps array. once in orbit, it will improve gps accuracy for military and civilians. the question is if the rocket will be able to launch this morning. a cold front rolling through has brought winds and clouds. we are looking at winds at 15 miles an hour in three and a

launch window will open up. coming up at 5:30, i'll tell you about the plans in place if this launch does get scrubbed this morning. >> the launch window opens at 8:38. if it happens, you'll see it live here. we'll stream it live on clickorlando.com. >> a plan to help get permanent homeless shelters and get people off the ground has hit a huge snag. the council voted down a proposal to help cover operating costs on the proposed shelter. that comes just one day after daytona city commissioners said they would put up $4 million if the city offered a similar investment. this comes after a dozen homeless people were moved to a shelter after they were camping out in front of the building for weeks. commissioners say they'll reconsider the plan once they get more information. >> new this morning, one of the

beating of an unarmed man has formally pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. 33-year-old jesse terrell is charged with violating price's rights. terrell could face 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted. >> ucf officials plan to send out letters to victims of a massive computer hack. the hack compromised social security numbers for 60 thoushs people. they include current and former students dating back to the 80's. that means current and former faculty members as they have their information compromised. yesterday we found out school leaders have known about this situation since january 8. we asked why it took so long to let victims know. >> even if you suspected a student group or faculty group was breached, why wouldn't you
