what we can expect from his rally in tampa tonight. i'm bridgettely son. >> david hall. we'll have those stories shortly. we're following breaking news right now as police in orlando have made a connection in connection to the mass shootings at the glitz ultra lounge last weekend. 23-year-old jose jaimie lopez was booked into the orange county jail on charges of concealed weapon and also tampering with evidence. according to court documents just released, a fight broke out between two groups of men inside fired. two men were killed in the shooting and 10 others were injured. we're working right now to get much more information on the arrest and we'll have more coming up on news 6 at 4:00. >> we learned two people have been killed on forest grove and palm harbor hark way east of i95 in palm coast. within the past hour we learned the names of the victims.

22-year-old jessica darby, both from palm coast. they died when troopers say a dump truck driver was trying to help another driver whose truck got stuck in some soft dirt in a construction zone there. the dump truck driver couldn't pull the other truck out, but troopers say as that dump truck driver was driving off, he hit and killed two people by mistake there. troopers are still investigating that tragic incident right now. and the republican presidential front runner, donald trump holding a rally in tampa. >> they have trump in the lead 19 percent over his closest competitor ted cruz. joining us now kirsten, what can we expect from trump's visit. >> usf is expecting thousands of people to pack into the sun dome tonight as donald trump makes another stop at the sunshine state. >> you vote for trump, we win here, we're going to run the table. >> reporter: as the republicans prepare for the south carolina

>> we have a crew starting at 5 o'clock with live reporting. you can see it tomorrow at news 6 at 9:00 and we'll have a wrap of last night's prime debate between hillary clinton and bernie sanders. >> we're expecting a big warmup to end a chilly week. >> that's right. meteorologist troy bridges is pinpointing all of that for us, setting us up for a nice valentine's day weekend. >> it's been a long time coming. we've had several cold mornings to deal with. now look at this. no clouds. lots of blue sky and sunshine across central florida. this is daytona beach. we see plenty of people out on the board walk and down on the beach. a lot of people enjoying this beautiful day. the water a little chilly, but i think not a bad day to head on out as we are already at 71 degrees in daytona beach. there is a bit of a breeze coming in out of the south south west at near 15 miles per hour. but the air is dry. and with that breeze coming in from the south we're going to heat up. that's a warming wind this time of year.

in orlando we were at 46 early in ocala, 46 in daytona beach but here's that rebound here at the lunch hour. 70 in orlando. sanford right now at 71. as we pointed out, daytona beach at a warm 71. we're going up to 74 this afternoon. and we'll hover there in the mid 70s through the afternoon hours. and then drop off. now, rain chances are out of the picture, but there is another front that will bring a cooldown for valentine's day. we're going to pinpoint that change coming up in just a few minutes. >> all right. thanks, troy. and don't forget you can get all the latest weather alerts directly on your phone with our free app. search wkmg in your app store. breaking right now, police say two teens have been shot at a high school in glendale, arizona, but say there's no danger to the rest of campus. glendale police confirm the shooting occurred at independence high school and say there is no active shooter situation but haven't released any other details yet.

we will let you know when we learn more about what happened there. today we're expecting to learn much more about what marion county deputies are calling their largest heroin bus in the history. earlier this week, detectives arrested these two. felipe and stephanie rodriguez. they found the two with a pound and a half of heroin inside their truck. investigators say they also had several guns, marijuana and more than $21,000 in cash on them. this is the second major heroin bust in central florida just this week. you might remember we told you on wednesday about investigators arresting 10 people, including a woman in a wheelchair. you see her right there. all of this happened in orange county. we're told the group made hundreds of thousands of dollars

. >> authority crews cut the ribbon and opened up brand new flyover ramps along the 417 at boggy creek road. live there for us now there amy. how will this help drivers around the airport? >> amy: david and bridgett, efficiency will be the name of the game now that we finally have these ramps open, it will be much, much easier for travelers coming in from south orange as well as osiola counties. it's been a long time coming. every day 12,000 drivers use these access rose -- 124,000 drivers use these access roads. more than 22,000 rely on the stoplight laden stretch of bobby creek road to get to the airport from the southern and osiola counties.

upgrade now that the ribbon has been cut for this brand new 417 flyover road at bobby creek road. they will now be able to bypass the really heavy stoplights and instead use this nice high speed access road to get directly on and off the highway. this will not only have a huge upside for commuters but also well. industry. disney and all that because you just avoid getting in any of the downtown business traffic. and you get right in and out of the airport to your destination. it opens up osiola county far more for tourists. >> amy: all right. so as you can see, this is just a huge benefit for all of us. this is very, very good news this morning. the good news is that this afternoon, these will be fully accessible. looks like cars will start rolling through at or if not a little bit before 4:00. so that's what's going on right now. i'll send it back to you in the studio.

some drivers trying to take 792 this morning had some significant delays. >> bridgett: yes, the roadblock isn't going anywhere. you can see the mess out there. and if you talked to any friends or family that had to go through there, you know it was trouble during that morning rush hour. thousands of drivers use this stretch of 1792 near lee road. and fdot shut down southbound lanes overnight to do construction right at park avenue where the railroad tracks go over the road there. you know that spot. well, it means all the lanes are going to be closed until monday. and drivers will have to deal with long detours around this. >> we'll have to go all the way down to lee road. we may get to work tomorrow. >> that's going to take some time. there are two detours. take a look here. one takes drivers from maitland boulevard to i4, the other goes from lake avenue to wymore road.

we were at 46 in ocala and 44 in melbourne. we've rebounded nicely here with all the sunshine here at the lunch hour. we're at 70 in orlando. 72 in ocala where we were early in the morning a few mornings back in the 20s with freeze warnings. that is only a memory now. and that will be a memory for a while for a lot of folks who had to deal with that and deal with the frost. 70 is the temperature right now in palm coast. and we're at 69 degrees in melbourne. now, here's a look at the pinpoint accurate forecast. >> your forecast brought to you by delair heating and air conditioning. >> and notice the sky into the afternoon much like what we're seeing right now. blue sky and sunshine. there will be a couple of those high thin clouds moving in eventually. look at the temperatures getting up to 74, which is the average high in many spots for this time of year.
