there is a time and place for that. your morning commute is not that. it is looking nice. taking a look outside over at i-4 this morning. these are eastbound cars moving away from you. all of your drive times reflecting we have no issues on the roads for right now. either side of 95, a smooth ride is under way this morning. same thing if you are hitting the expressway. two men connected with a shooting at a nightclub are booked into jail. they are not being accused of murder. >> the shooting earlier this month claimed the lives of two people and left nearly a dozen others hurt. kirsten is live at the jail this morning. one of these men, kirsten was actually arrested before but released. >> jose was arrested, you are right, right after that shooting.

was arrested and then released on bond before police even told us he was a suspect but he is back in jail now and he is not alone. >> a second man sitting in jail with ties to the deadly shooting that turned a nightclub filled with 3 hucks people into a crime scene. he is charged with attempt murder, aggravated assault, and a whole list of charges. 23-year-old jose lopez arrested minutes after the shooting pu later released is back in handcuffs, charged with shooting into a structure. >> you were ordered not to have any weapons as a condition of release. >> the release was not announced until days later when he had bonded out of jail. hours later, police said there could be as many as three gunmen in the club that night. police won't say if they are looking for any other suspects

>> the safety and security of our residentings is top priority of the police department. >> neither of these men is charged with murder. that's one of the first questions we'll be asking. we are looking for more details op that second arrest. we'll post updates as we get them to our website. later this morning, volusia county deputies will get back to searching an area where human remains were found. the search area is off international speedway boulevard near daytona beach which is not too far from the volusia county jail. mark, what exactly will deputies be looking for today? >> they are trying to find additional bones or anything to help them identify who the remains belong to. still a lot of questions this morning after those remains found here in these woods yesterday afternoon. several investigators were seen

it was before 1:00 when the surveyor appeared to find what is the teeth of a skull. investigators searched through the rough terrain until sundown. they say they don't know who the remains belonged to. the discovery in the woods has some talking about a recent high profile murder case. in 2013, yessina and her children went missing. their bodies were never found. deputies are not saying about a possible connection to that case. it is important to point out homeless have been known to preekt this area as well. it is unknown if there is a connection with that. it hinges on what the medical examiner is able to find and what investigators find when they come back here this morning, resume their search. we'll be with them every step of the way. we'll let you know what, if anything, is found. we'll provide updates on our website and, of course, right

>> mark, thank you. >> fears of my more violence is causing problems for hundreds of students. >> the lockdown didn't end until 6:00 last night. we are learning details about what led to the whole thing. johnny is following the developments on this. you learned it has been an intense week at the school. >> workers say much of this started online after two different threats of violence were posted on social media just this week. the school was put on lockdown yesterday afternoon after word of ha second threat. we have learned the trouble at the school goes even beyond that. police tell us there have been nine incidents this week, including three fights on campus, three more confrontations stopped by school workers and another fight off campus. when that new threat came in, police decided to sweep this whole campus. >> they were searching.

they were wanding us down. >> a scary scene. frightening. >> police say all the threats have turned out to be bogus and nothing dangerous was found. there is no school today in osceola county. that's the previous scheduled holiday. we'll check in with police to see if there will be extra security when students return on monday. >> also this morning, the owner of the s.u.v. troopers say was involved in a deadly hit and run has now hired an attorney. yesterday we got our first look at the jeep cherokee investigators say hit 39-year-old jason while he was out jogging near cocoa. the driver kept going. troopers say they found the jeep after a lawyer hired by its owner called them but they are not saying yet who was behind the wheel. >> the first big piece of the puzzle is there. we have the vehicle we believe was involved in the crash. now it is investigators turn to build a case.

owner has not been released. troopers say their investigation could take months to finish. >> today in lake county asked to help a police officer who was severely injured in a fire. a special blood pressure is being held for 21-year-old chris cruz. he was burned on super bowl sunday when a gas can near a bonfire exploded. since that incident he has received several blood transfusions. it is from noon until 7:00 this evening. all donors will get a free wellness checkup. >> a bill to require mandatory recess has come to a stand still in the legislature t. house approved a bill to require elementary schools to set aside 20 minutes for free play recess. it appears the senate will not consider the legislation. the chairman of the senate education committee says recess time should be decided by local school boards. he said the bill being presented is is a one size fits all and it
