noon and 77 by 4:00. >> danny, thanks. in orange county, four people are in the hospital after a shoot anything orlando. officers raced to mcfall avenue and found four victims with gunshot wounds. their conditions are not known. a mother and daughter tell news 6 they were inside the s and w food store when a man wearing bandana and sunglasses stormed in and started firing shots. >> i walked past so he shot the bullet off and we thought it was some kid playing around. and he did it again. we hurried up and ran out the door. >> the suspect drove off from the store and was later stopped by police. police have not said if anyone was detained or arrested and they are told they are not looking for anyone. we will follow the story throughout the day and post any updates on our website,

>> and we heard back from the school district. he is still an employee but reassigned to a new location while the investigation is open. >> the search will pick up for baby rolo after the crews drain add pond near where the mother gave birth. susan richards is charged with neglect. they investigated a few dumpsters from the complex but still no baby. once the pond is completely dry crews are expected to resume their search there. >> this morning we are learning new information on a deadly crash involving a dirt bike in orange county. the crash happened at powers and denison drives. an unregistered dirt bike lost control on the sidewalk and hit a 59-year-old pedestrian.

hour rye ie ye sglon -- horizon. this will bring chilly air returning to central florida. i don't think we are talking freeze but we are talking cooler temperatures. we are talking tuesday, wednesday. i will show you that with a long range forecast. mild temperatures and a few cloud will wander in off the atlantic ocean. they did yesterday, too. it was in and out. expect more of the same today. and speaking of today as we go hour by hour, 8:00 this morning, some fog in place. 73 by noon and 77 at maximum for the afternoon. in fact, 79, 71 palm coast and nighttime temperatures are not unpleasant. very, very nice. as we get into tomorrow, i think we have morning fog again and then we start talking about a chance of rain. it sneaks in for monday night into tuesday. and tuesday has a 40% chance of

expect today resume their search there. >> we are learning new information on a deadly crash in orange county. it happened around 5:30 last night in pine hills. troopers say an unregistered dirt bike lost control on the sidewalk and hit a 59-year-old pedestrian. she was taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead. in the past few hours we learned foster died at the hospital as well. troopers are asking anyone that witnessed the crash to call fhp. >> now to a crime alert in orange county where police identified the suspect who rob add taxi driver at gunpoint. this is a picture of devine and love lovett. police tell us earlier the cab driver picked her up and when she got to downtown orlando she pulled out a gun and told him to hand over whatever he had. if you have any information, call crime line.

>> let's go outside and take a look at this picture because gary. yep. gary did it again. that was i think a sunset in sky >> yea. >> so i'm going to assume that was yesterday. sunset. okay. here's the weather story for today. fog at the moments, sunshine headed your way. warm temperatures, very pleasant. a little above normal this time of year and tuesday and wednesday some changes. maybe even some thunderstorms by the time we get to wednesday. wind are calm at the moment and unfortunately it could mean some fog and the fog problems have been around wild wood and the villages and ocala. you can see it's been varying. we've been down as low as a third of a mile. it comes and goes. you want to go out on your yacht today? it may be a little troublesome. still got the same seas we had yesterday so there are some

a little better than yesterday. water temperature if you want to dive in, a little chilly. here are some of the things you want to know about the daytona 500. got a 59 degree temperature and it gets to 74 at the start of the race and still 70 degrees at the 5:00 mark. out there in the atlantic, ocean, a little bit of activity, but it's way offshore so it's not a concern. it's not head in our direction. we will have southerly winds that will turn easterly. it can blow in some clouds like it did yesterday. you can see some of the cloud want to linger near the coast. i don't think it's a big problem. in fact, if you are out and about, please remember to sunscreen, you know, because even if you got clouds you need sunscreen. here is the big changer and see i've got cold air back here. for us there's cold air headed our way but it's not the big time freeze or anything like that. it will drop our temperatures back down to the 40s, but not today. no. mild temperatures and pleasant conditions.

shoreline. here we go hour by hour. noon time 73 at the magic kingdom. 77 by 4:00 in the afternoon. we will keep the 70s and share them with everybody. paul coast gets a 91 and leesburg gets 78. nighttime temperatures will put them in the 50s. maybe melbourne gets to 60. things will be changing. got a chance of rain sneaking into the forecast monday night and it continues into tuesday. by the time we reach wednesday we may talk about thunderstorms trying to creep across the area as a cold front pushes through and what happens after a cold front? because it brings cooler air. right now if this trend continues it looks like next go. >> yea, it looks like next weekend could be like this weekend. >> that sounds good to me because yesterday was absolutely perfect. awesome. >> i think i turned the air in my car. >> in february. >> exactly.

it's been a great week so far for one nascar driver in daytona, he is a rookie and orlando magic will play today. >> count on something special happening at the new and improved speedway. the race is sold out and out of the 38 driver notice this field maybe the rookie with with racing in his blood is the one to beat. chase elliot is having a terrific week at daytona. yesterday he was in victory lane after sending off joey legatto. today elliot starts the daytona 500, the youngest driver to start the 500 from that position. his dad won the daytona 500 twice. like father, like son maybe? here's chase from victory lane. >> yes, this week has been fantastic.

boaters not too bad. 3-5 foot seas. wind out of the south but will switch to the east and it will do what it did yesterday. it might blow a bit of cloud cover in off the atlantic, ocean, but on the radar things are quiet. don't expect anything for the remainder of the day. not in the form of rain showers. that's not coming until monday night. more likely on tuesday. and this is the reason. this approaching cold front. and it's going to bring a little bit of a chance of showers and thunderstorms as it pushes through on wednesday. but it gets close enough on tuesday to increase the chances of rain. today is not that day. today small craft caution, mild temperatures, southeasterly winds. clouds try to move in along the beaches. on and off. still need sunscreen. you can get sunburn when it's cloudy. and the rain continues to stay offshore. so i don't think that's a problem whatsoever. now you are making plans here. hour by hour, temperatures go up and up.

floridian of the year. and the orlando solar bears have been a source to end homelessness. we have the c.e.o. of the solar bears, good morning to you, welcome. andre bailey, the man himself. congratulations. >> eric, thanks for having me back on. >> you beat out thousands of people. >> when you run a collective organization like the central florida commission on homelessness, the real key is just getting the right leaders around the right ideas and getting the right resources. so people like jason on our team and organizations like the solar bears and others, hard mot to be successful. >> but a little insight. there were people on that list that do a lot for central florida, that make a lot of money for central florida. a lot of high profile people. how do you do this? >> how do you win? >> i appreciate all the flattery. i think homelessness has been an important issue for our community. we've solved so many things here.

areas, but homelessness was always an area we struggle to make the progress we were hoping for. so our collaborative that have seen so many homeless get off the streets and housing first hod will take roots, i think they wanted to recognize our 'm lucky enough to be the person to receive it. >> not just your charming personality and good looks? >> no. >> let's talk about the effort to end homelessness, but you have made incredible progress. we talked about this over the past year to end homelessness. tell me where we are and what's left? >> like most big cities in the united states of america, central florida struggled with homelessness for decade and when i got this job in 2013 we have seen so many community efforts try and not succeed. so i looked around the country and saw cities that were making progress, using the housing first model.

the solution to homelessness is finding someone a home and they are no longer homeless. >> you have ended chronic veteran homelessness. >> one of the things we are most proud is led by the va and some great efforts, collaborative efforts by a lot of partners. we have reached functional zero for veteran homelessness. that means if you are a veteran and you have a disability there's housing for you. many of them got it for 15-20 years in the last three years alone. >> many stories with you on this. what's left? >> a lot of work left to do. i talked to you about -- you will know that we succeeded when you drive down the middle of downtown orlando. go out into the woods of east orange county and there's not masses of homeless people still out there. if you drive down the streets you see a lot of homeless people. we've got the money, we've got the right plan.

where we are able to suffer through the construction. we have to push forward until every person gets off the streets. >> one more question. let's talk about some of the money. you've heard thchlt there is a criticism that the commission has a ton of money. i mean we are talking upward of so million, $15 million. the county complaining they didn't have the money to take care of these folks. how do you get the money to the people that need it? >> the commission has a small budget. our budge the -- budget is less than $1 million a year. we were able to get top companies, disney world, city of orlando, to commit money to go down the same road together. we are pushing for more of these resources to hit the streets.

myself and my partner certainly the opportunity to contribute in the community in whatever small way, what wound of happen anything this case was after a meeting with dick bachelor and andre bailey, probably 15 week the before last year's game was this great brain storming session in which we felt our partnership with six and our ability to use one of our games that would be tell advise evised that we would have a unique opportunity to do something special and everything came together in a wonderful way. last year we wound up raising $12,000 from channel 6, from the solar bears, from our fans. and more importantly from an advocacy standpoint we were able to generate over 7 million impressions on social media.
