this is why, we don't have a lot going on. it is early, well before we get into rush hour. a live look at i-4 by lake mary boulevard. so far so good. eastbound and westbound, you can clearly see no big issues. that's your check on traffic. back to you. >> a man and woman are attacked while pumping gas in orange county, all part of what deputies think could be an elaborate carjacking plan. it happened at circle k, not far from ucf. that's where we find johnny fernandez. you spoke with deputies. what are they saying? >> the details on what happened here are bizarre. deputies, they are still here on the scene, trying to piece together what happened. here's what we know so far. deputies say a man and woman picked up another woman and then came to this gas station. as they were pumping gas, they say another car pulled up and a man then got outside and attacked two people. that's when deputies say the so-called friend they picked up

took off. deputies are trying to find both cars involved in all this. deputies are trying to figure out what is the relationship between everyone involved. at this point, they are still looking for a number of things. of course, once i get new updates, i'll pass the information onto you guys on air and online on clickorlando.com, powered by news 6. >> also breaking overnight, police working right now to figure out who shot two people. the scene is playing out in the last few hours right near willy mays park. mark lehman is working to get us answers from police. have police said anything about how those victims are doing? >> reporter: yes, david. we got word within the last couple of hours the victims are expected to be ok. good news on that front. there are still a lot of questions about what led to the shooting at this home late last night.

collecting crime scene evidence. when officers arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds. their injuries were not life threatening. that's the only information they are leading. they are not revealing what led to the shooting and they are not saying about a possible suspect. investigators have cleared the scene. we are working to find out if police are searching for a gunman or if they have any idea of who opened fire here last night. as soon as i learn information, i'll pass it along to you on news 6 and i'll have another update coming up in the next 30 minutes. >> when work will resume object i-4 ultimate project. crews put the project on hold after a worker died while on the job. investigators say 34-year-old marvin franklin died when a dump truck ran over him. >> witnesses say franklin may

on the truck because of the high winds and traffic in this area. the contractor tells us they'll review their safety procedures to see if anything needs to be changed. they say the construction project will resume as soon as the crew members are ready. >> the search is on for three people accused of robbing a man in seminole county. >> it could be tied to a carjacking in orlando. it started at steak and shake near altamonte mall. police went after the suspects who ditched their car near lake mary boulevard. investigators say a total of four suspects pulled a man into their car near the mall and took his wallet, phone and shoes before taking off. after crashing into a car, a chase started on i-4. the suspects eventually bailed out along lake mary boulevard but three were able to get away. police put out an alert after a man driving a tan lexus was carjacked. we are told police did reach out

could be the same car. >> deputies in two counties continuing their search to find a man missing on a lake. family members concerned after welcome roble didn't come home after going out on the lake yesterday, it is on the border of orange and lake county. sky 6 flew over that water. deputies say they found robles boat going in circles on the lake. rescue crews searched by water and air to see if they could find him but so far no signs of roble. >> police need some help getting results finding the man they say shot four people. one of those victims was just 14 years old. this was breaking news after the victims were found outside a house. it was not until hours later that police told us the number of victims and the armed suspect they are searching for was

>> obviously, you do a drive by shooting, you are certainly not going this to trick or treat. you are there because you are looking to do damage. fortunately. nobody was killed. >> police arrested watson's brother. they are trying to find watson who hay say is the main suspect in another murder case from last year. if you see him or have any information, call daytona beach police. >> a seminole county school director is facing charges accused of stealing from an oviedo store. according to sentinel, erica pooler was arrested tuesday night. she is the director of the district office of school safety and alternative placement. now she is accused of stealing close to $900 from a kohl's department store. we checked with the jail and she is now out on bond and expected to be placed on administrative leave as district officials investigate this. >> the so-called shaw shank fugitive could find out if he

he is expected to appear before a parole board in ohio. he spent 56 years in hiding after escaping from a prison feature in the movie the shaw shank redemption. he was serving time for killing a man but was recaptured last year in melbourne. >> space x is trying to launch a rocket from the space coast coast. the launch was scrubbed last night. the company isn't saying exactly why only that they wanted to make sure the fuel was cold as possible before liftoff. that delay was out of an abundance of caution. if it happens, we'll bring it to you live here and on clickorlando.com. >> good news for all of you lotto lovers, unless you didn't win last night. the jackpot is is up again. >> saturday's estimated prize is

we'll let you know as soon as we get new information. >> praekdz overnight, the storm system that brought us rain and tornado warnings is taking its toll on the northeast. overnight a fourth death was confirmed in virginia after a reported twister. you can see the damage behind me. here's a closer look at the damage. this is northeast of richmond. as you can see, not much left there. police say at least 15 buildings were destroyed and another two dozen people were injured. in pennsylvania, people dealing with heavy rain leaving several streets flooded. drivers having a hard time getting around it because of all that water. the system also brought high winds which took down trees and power lines. >> new information surrounding a worker at a disney water park. that man is out of jail now. he is accused of sexually battering another man after the victim allegedly ignored his advances. cooper works for a janitorial contractor at blaz ard beach. according to reports cooper was arrested in october for another

in that case he was accused of stealing $42,000 in sunglasses during two burglaries but those charges were dropped. >> more than a year after the crime, deputies say they made a second arrest in the case of a horse farm. they say he is one of three suspects who shot three people at the farm back in august of 2014. two of those victims died. a second suspect was indicted on murder charges last year. he is still in jail waiting for trial. deputies have not released any information to us about a third man who may have been involved in the crime. >> new fears this morning over the zika virus. health officials in florida now confirm at least three pregnant women in the state have tested positive for the mosquito born illness. the cases are the first in the state involving pregnant women. health officials say all the patients traveled to the zika prone areas before getting sick. it is unclear where in the state the women live for now.

reported in florida is now up to 32, stretching across 11 counties because of the new cases the governor has requested several zika antibody tests. those tests allow doctors to see if patients especially women have had the virus even if they have recovered. >> a woman got more than she bargained for while eating at a restaurant. >> she bit into a pricey pearl at dinner. >> he thought i was joking. he thought it looked so round and perfect someone was playing a joke on me. >> it wasn't. lindsay says she was eating with her hubby at this restaurant when she bit down and felt something hard. she was skeptical about it so she took it to a gemologist who determined it is a rare purple pearl. it is estimated to be worth about $600. >> let's go to that restaurant. she says she is not going to sell it.
