>> i'm very mad at her. she killed my dog. gregory and rachel say the last time they saw their seven-year-old golden doodle alive was last fall. it was the day they dropped molly and their other dog shadow off at paws and claws boarding facility. when they returned to their two week trip, they were shocked to find out that molly had died. >> she said that molly must have died in her sleep. she walked in that morning and she was dead. >> reporter: she claims paws and claws owner said molly die died of a brain aneurism. they were stunned because she seemed to be in perfect health. they never called their emergency contact for the dogs. they say she also ordered molly's cremation without their consent. they say they felt something was i don't think -- wrong. they got a hold of the vettarian

>> molly had been attacked by seven dogs and went as far to say they could not find her trachea when she got there. >> reporter: she brought what she found to paws and claws owner, and she said she denied it. >> if she was siting here now, what would you say to her. >> you should be ashamed of yourself, we put our dog in your care. >> reporter: we went to get results for molly's family. >> i'm erik sandoval with channel six. >> reporter: and this time she opened up about what really happened. >> the owners say that you lied to them, is that true? >> no. did i tell them that their dog -- another dog broke the dog's trachea, no. >> don't you think that's aren't important part to tell the owners if they died in your care. >> i just want to tell them what was easiest if i would want to take the news. >> reporter: we pressed her about the story and if it'd happen before or sense. >> don't portray me as a bad person.

>> it looked like she had some kind of claw bar and pried it open. what happened in the afternoon when my son came home and the lady in the house? what would happen? the woman dressed in casual cloting and wearing a visor, walks pass the itch kitchen. >> normally a bad guy break into your house and rob you. but from the video, i look at this lady, there's nowhere -- you just don't trust anybody anymore. >> reporter: he tells us the time stamp is only ten minutes after he and his family left the house. but the woman was only inside for a couple minutes. johny think it is washer and drier left on upstairs spooked her. now he says the he makes sure the back door is secure. >> i have to do that. you know? nobody should have to do that. you know? especially here. just be aware. doesn't matter where you live. that's as nice as it is, it's not safe anywhere. make sure you lock your door when you leave.
