right at his nose and pulled the trigger. and it didn't feel like it was clicking because he would have been dead. >> the women. >> reporter: the women throwing the keys and scaring him off. >> did they take h your car? >> they hit my girlfriend in my face and put beguns in our heads. >> reporter: the robber jumps in a get away car and mac key makes a split second decision. >> i decided when he was going to turn i smashed into him and totalled my car but he didn't get away. >> reporter: the police ended up catching the robber and two others trying to get away. >> they picked the two wrong girls today. >> reporter: the robber did get away with one phone. but police did catch up with them and they should be arriving here at the jail any minute. the two-year-old had a scratch on their neck. but the women weren't exactly sure where that might have come from. reporting live in belusha counter. sashell saunders news 6.

well tonight, a spectacular lift off from cape canaveral. space exlaunched a communication satellite in the or bit tonight. the rocket was suppose ed to propel itself back to earth and land off a barge. eric getting answers. >> well we haven't seen the video just yet. but space exfounder eh lob says what you can see appears to be part of the rocket exhaust. the plume of that nearing the landing platform. and then the signal just cut out like that. the rocket did not pass this task. but musk says they will move on. a gorgeous sunset at cape canaveral tonight served as the backdrop for a space exlaunch that seemed insistent on staying on the ground. this is space exvideo of that atless nine taking off from the launch pad. this is that same launch tonight

this one capturing the stellar launch from the ground. and sakai six caught the atless nine and was able to zoom right in on that rocket for miles away. it was pushing a one and a half ton communication satellite. that was its mission. but it also turned into its problem tonight. space exleader and founder founder eh lob musk says because the satellite was heavy, it required more fuel to push it into a superzing nows or bit. that didn't leave enough fuel to slow that rocket down and center it when it went in for its landing off the coast. an hour and 15 minutes after launch, musk tweeted, rocket landed hard on the drone ship. didn't expect this one to work. vertical hot reentry. chance. one man asked musk is there a neat explosion video we can watch instead. musk did not respond. and again, we are hoping to get that really neat video.

space ex is going to try that landing of a rocket here in the next few weeks when they launch a resupply mission to the international space station. what's not clear yet, is if that landing will be on land where the agency has had a lot of success, or if it's going to be at sea once again where they've ginger? thank you. breaking right now, a deadly accident in winter garden, we just learned two people have been killed in a two vehicle crash. five others taken to a hospital. this happens on avalon and mckinny road just west of the 429. we are working to find out what caused this accident. the florida high way patrol is investigating and we will have an update on the morning news starting at five. and new tonight, a busy road is back open after a deadly crash. this was the scene from sky six on lock wood boulevard around 230 this afternoon. the road was closed for several hours after a crash involving a tanker. it was shut down between

so crews could clean up a fuel spill. a sedan badly damaged. tonight we know one person killed and no word on what caused this accident. right now a woman accused of stealing from girl scouts is out of jail. ashley posted bond this evening. but her brother is still behind bars tonight. news 6 was there as the brothers and sisters went behind tonight. they're accused of stealing more than $200 from a 12-year-old girl scout on sunday. they turned themselves in after surveillance pictures surfaced and help lead to their arrest. it is now down to four republican candidates in the race for the white house. doctor ben carson, officially ended his quest for the presidential nomination. the re tired neuro surgeon hinted that he no longer saw a path forward to the gop nomination.

well okay, a lot of you are going to be doing cleaning up after this. tonight the family has hit the jackpot while doing some cleaning. they were cleaning out their late grandfather's house when they found a crumbled paper bag inside when a an original baseball cards printed in the 19100s. there are only $15 cards known to collectors. and one appraiser said the best preserved of those cards just one of them could easily sell for more than a million dollars. >> that is crazy. cha-ching. >> cleaning up this weekend. that's for sure. you know, great grandfather had great taste in baseball cards. so he had the right thought. the magics have said all along, they want to make the play offs. >> they said they believe they can make the play offs. they're good enough to make the play offs. well they didn't look anything like a play off team tonight. against one of the worst teams in the league.

oh yeah, the team phoenix was not very good. tonight was not only a must win game, but a should win. but they did not win this game. the magic have a tendency to make bad teams look good. the phoenix suns looked great tonight at the am way. el ford peyton led the magics with 19 for the night. the two teams tied after a quarter, things go downhill late in the firth half. the magics had 101 shots tonight. missed 56 of them. this sequence says it all about the game. four defense on the fade away there. and peyton was the sloppy pass. and he goes in for the easy jam. suns opened up a 21 lead in the quarter. scott sills does not look well. the sons alex let me know towards 31 points. magic lose 102-84. so a team that came in with only 15 wins. and the suns played last night as well.
