how is it going to look this weekend? let' s get straight over to meteorologist danny treanor. >> danny: all eyes on are daytona beach and it looks like it' s going to be perfect. have a good one and i like to work when the weekends are nice. here' s what we have going. today 71 over in daytona beach and loud motorcycle noises. we got a bit cooler on sunday. no rain and even monday it is the entire upcoming week. it looks fantastic. it may get up into the 80- plus degree mark by the time we hit the middle of the week. in the meantime nothing on radar. i don' t expect anything today. that means good boating conditions and good beach conditions and goods outdoor conscience. anything that you want to do. temperatures range from 50 in daytona beach. 40 in the villages. 43 in ocala. 52 in kissimee. same in melbourne. cocoa beach a little bit warmer and 62 now. if you want to feel good about

clicking because he would have been dead. >> reporter: they threw the keys and it doesn' t end there. >> hit my girlfriend in the face and with a gun to her head. >> reporter: the robber justs in the getaway car and maggie makes a split second decision. >> i hit him head on on the side when he was going to turn so i smashed into him and totaled my car but he didn' t get away. rep police roll up and the friends don' t regret one moment. >> they picked the two wrong girls today. >> reporter: the robber did get away with one phone, but police caught up with all 3 and arrested them. the women were not hurt. the 2- year- old did get a scratch on her neck, but they weren' t exactly sure what that came from. reporting in volusia county, sachel saunders, news 6. >> justin: wild story there.

was a lift off with the falcon 9 rocket carried into orbit last night. >> 3, 2, 1, zero. lift off! >> love those evening launches. this is spacex video of the falcon 9 taking off. but there were a few hiccups along the way. the spacex founder says because the satellite was heavy, it required more fuel to push it into orbit. he said that didn' t leave enough fuel to slow the rocket down and center it when it went for a test landing an hour and 15 minutes after launch. musk tweeted, quote, rocket landed hard on drone ship. didn' t expect this one to work, but next flight has a good chance. we haven' t seen the video of that landing just yet. spacex will have another launch and they' ll also try to land that rocket in the next couple of week when is they launch a resupply mission to the international space station. it' s not clear yet if that landing will be on land or at sea. right now the florida

we' re told two people were killed in a 2- vehicle crash. 5 others have been taken to the hospital. it happened on avalon and mckinney roads. now working for more sxrgz and let you know if we see more. and oviedo is open after a deadly crash there. it was closed for several hours after a crash involving a tanker. yesterday morning. it was shut down between county road 419 and evans road. so crews could clean up a fuel spill. you could see the sedan badly damaged and a tanker right there. we know one person was killed, but their name has not been released. no word on what caused the accident. turning to marion county now where a tip led crime scene detectives to a body buried in the ocala national forest. this is video sent to us by the sheriff' s office there from the scene. the body was buried in a shallow grave in the area off forest road 50. we'

out of jail. ashley winters is out on bond this morning but her brother is still behind bars. news 6 was there as the brother and sister went before a judge yesterday and had their bond reduced. winters and her brother are accused of stealing more than $200 from a 12- year- old girl scout on sunday. volusia county deputies say the pair turned themselves in on thursday after surveillance pictures surfaced and helped lead to their arrest. well, if you plan on doing shopping this weekend, you can score great deals at sports authority. the company announced it' s closing 140 locations and all the merchandise will be on sale. the company announced on wednesday it was filing for bankruptcy citing it was more than one billion dollars in debt. there are 2 stores in orlando that are closing. one on west colonial drive and the other on the trail and also in daytona beach on the international speedway boulevard and another in melbourne on evans road. we also learned the stores in altamonte springs and ocala are closing, too.
