we'll continue to stick to the detours. you can see the line, we are getting used to it at this point. no major delays. this is what it looks like in real time. out by ivanhoe, we still have construction barrels set up. we are still moving along at the speed limit. overall, not looking too shabby. that is your check on traffic. >> we are following breaking news from overnight in orlando. a driver crashed a stolen car into a home, leaving behind lots of damage and officers say the driver who is responsible is still on the run right now. it happened early this morning on north lakeland avenue off washington street near downtown. that's where we find johnny fernandez. were there any people in the home at the time of the crash in. >> bridgett, we got word, there were two people inside of the home at the time. the good thing is that everyone is ok. the scene just cleared within

i want to show you what it looked like when this whole crash took place. moments after this crash took place. look at the video. police on the scene, orlando police, say the driver of this mitsubishi rammed into the home here. police say the driver of the car took off before they got here. despite their efforts to try to find the driver in the area, they had no luck in finding the driver. we are back out live. we got word, code enforcement, they did board up the damage. the house at this time hasn't been condemned. we also did get word the mitsubishi eclipse that crashed into the house, it is being taken -- it is going to be examined by police to make sure that they don't find any other types of forensic evidence inside the car. police are hoping that that will help them find the d.n.a. to the driver that fled. of course, we'll stay on top of

served fresh from florida. >> police are on the hunt for a driver after a stolen car crashed into a home overnight. this happened along lakeland avenue, not far from downtown. officers tell news 6, two people were inside the house at the time, but they were not hurt. after the crash, police say the driver took off leaving behind the stolen mitsubishi eclipse. investigators are processing the car to see p if they can get clues to find the person responsible. >> a central florida father being called a hero for quick thinking during a recent outing with his son. he is being credited with saving the boy from a serious injury during a spring training baseball game. this picture captures it all. you can see him reaching out to protect his son as the player lost his grip of a baseball bat which would have hit the boy in the head. you can see how close it came to

cunningham said his instincts as a dad kicked in. >> my dad did this like he said. i think it flipped around and hit me in my shoulder. >> landon did not get injured. said he barely felt the bat when he hit his shoulder. his dad got a bruise on his shoulder but said it is healing. >> new developments in the medical marijuana bill that is heading to governor rick scott. the florida senate approved a bill expabding the use of the so-called right to tray act. it allows patients to try medical marijuana, a similar measure did not pass last year. governor scott now has seven days to sign the bill. >> a jury has awarded sports caster aaron andrews $55 million after a day of deliberations. it stems over a lawsuit over a secretly recorded video showing her naked inside a motel room. investigators say convicted stalker michael barett recorded

the video appeared online and has been viewed by millions of people. andrews testified during the trial as a result of this video she was publicly humiliate and she suffers from depression because of this. attorneys from marriott argued barett should be held accountable and not their company. andrews' attorney said the hotel chain did not provide adequate security. >> a bizarre traffic stop in illinois. officers had to pull over a driver after spotting a 15-foot tree lodged in the grill. here's a closer look. you can see the driver going down the road with the tree attached to the grill. officers say the air bag inside deployed, leading them to believe the person who crashed into the tree tried to drive away.
