beef foe's bray psi restaurant, not far from lake sumter state college. she told police she was pulled over just before midnight on saturday. police say a man in uniform asked the man why he was in a hurry. left. restaurant workers were watching, they believe they scare ed the guy off. claire mont police have a vague description, but he was driving a black ford crown victoria, with flashing interior lights, making it look like an un-marked patrol car. tonight we're hearing the 911 calls for help after a deadly plain crash. >> flight or jet. engine plane that went down in a vacant field. pilot jane and james cost died. they're trying to figure out where the plane took off from and where it was headed. they're trying to determine what caused an amtrak train to derail. it was headed from chicago to los angeles when it jumped the tracks west of wichita kansas. more than 30 passengers hurt. two critically. ginger gadsden reports. >> reporter: teams are now on the scene in south western kansas trying to determine what sent an amtrak train flying off the tracks at night. first responders raced to free passengers inside when eight cars derailed. >> (indiscernible) people off the top. >> the engineer was quite vigilant and noticed something

i got nothing. nothing's happening. it's dry as can be. hours ago, we had speckles. through osceola and brevard. these are the highs today. 89 in sanford, smoking hot. and 89 in daytona beach. that one is tieing the record goes back to 85. right now in daytona beach, we've cooled quickly down to 71 . the air is dry, when it's dry, it heats up fast and cools down fast. there you go. the high today is 89 and now we're at 71. 71 to leesburg and 74 in orlando and 76 in cocoa beach. compared to 24 hours ago, not much of a change in orlando. one degree cooler in orlando than we were last night. but 5 warmer from ocala to palm coast to three beach side in daytona beach. wind speeds and directions.

the deal during the day today. it's been breeze i and all the rain from the west whoosh this way. so the east coast sea breeze never got to kick in. we a had all those really warm temperatures today. satellite and radar together, i think you know what i'm going. not a lot of clouds to deal with. no clouds new york city rain. but not here at home, we're fine. see all this orange in the black, that's the dry air at 30,000-feet, as long as this dry air which stretches to houston keeps funneling this way, we don't get any rain. futurecast is trying to eke out a shower or spritz of rain. i just don't see how it's going to happen with all that dry air in place, all the way through wednesday into thursday before we ever ramp our rain chances up at all. overnight low tonight is 64 in new smyrna, 66 in sanford.
