he heard noises in the basement. he went downstairs and he fired. all of it matches what the father told police. >> deer park police want to target a bank robber. the man held up the branch and showed a gun and demanded cash. according to police, he jumped into a waiting car on linden avenue and drove away. detectives are looking into whether today's robbery is related to a robbery that happened back in november. people who live in over the rind could soon have to pay more for their parking. 450 spaces would be set aside for people who live in the neighborhood. a permit to use those spaces would cost more than $100 a year. the spaces are currently free. which is part of the reason that mayor john cranley vetoed this

:00. >> she pleaded not guilty to the charges against her. jessica hood is charged with manslaughter and assault. charles napier was pulling shawn and samantha along napier road when they were hit. police say hood was distracted when she drove off the road. and his attorney says he's yet to see any negligence on her part, including substance abuse or inattentiveness. >> we feel that it is an accident. it is a horrible accident. we intend to defend this vigorously. >> dickinson says hood feels terrible for the victims and her family. right now she's out on bond.

trigger in a recent shooting is locked up on bond. he's charged with shooting two people on poplar street last night. two other people later showed up at the hospital on their own. one had been shot in the hand and the other shot in the back. johnson is also charged with drug trafficking, according to court documents, he showed up to poplar trying to selling marijuana. five people banged on their window and when the couple wouldn't let them in, they broke a window to get inside. police say they assaulted the man who lives there and stole the woman's car. a ton of sun made for a welcome start today. some might even see a few flurries this afternoon. here is meteorologist scott

weather. >> we begin the day with temperatures near zero for some. we have made some improvement through the afternoon. temperatures will continue to rise for the remainder of the day. the sun will be filtered, especially late, with temperatures maxing out in the mid 20s. temperatures barely fall late this afternoon and early this evening. some flurries around, especially to the northwest and the north of cincinnati for the tail end of the business day, otherwise we're cloudy for the afternoon and the evening. temperatures rising from 7:00 p.m. through midnight. wind chills will be in the single digits and teens. clouds are increasing at this hour. notice snow returns to the northwest of indianapolis. that's why we have flurries in the forecast. temperature now 17 at the international airport. 9 the temperature in oxford. 9 in liberty.

>> the pentagon says that 10 u.s. sailors held in iran are today. >> iran's revolutionary guard released these photos of the 10 u.s. sailors relaxing, some even overnight. they arrive this morning uninjured to a u.s. military base in the gulf, where they will be debriefed. the nine men and young woman were on these patrol boats when a breakdown caused them to drift into iranian waters. they were captured and held on an iranian base.

it was like a snow maker. times. >> oh, yeah, i've been here a long time. tri-state. we dropped down to 6 officially in cincinnati this morning. i did the full investigation where i could find a temperature below zero. summerville in butler county dropped to 3 below zero. foster hit 8. mayesville dropped to 3. versailles went to 2 below zero. these are temperatures. we had wind chills below zero in many tri-state communities. temperatures are on the rise. we're shaking the chill in the afternoon. we're also picking up clouds. there will be some flurries. fayette, union, warren, butler county have a chance of seeing some flakes today.

perhaps brushing our far northern row of counties. temperatures will rise this afternoon. it will fall a couple of degrees. jonesville is at 18. peeples is at 14. 17 now in cincinnati. 22 in lexington. 12 in muncie. a pocket of cold air continues over the great lakes and the ohio valley. this will give us an increase in cloud cover for the next few hours. once clouds get here, they will stick around through tonight and tomorrow. notice on precision doppler 12 hd, we'll be watching this area of flurries and snow showers to the north, to the northwest of indianapolis. it will basically stay around interstate 70.
