posted for brown, adams county and our bottom row of counties, owen to mason county from 5:00 a.m. on friday to 7:00 at 7:00 on saturday. that's a fairly large window. where the watches in effect, that suggests the potential for a lot of snow. in this case four or perhaps more inches of snow. totals will be lower for the upcoming event. not tonight or tomorrow. friday, friday night, very early on saturday. closer to interstate 71. more on friday system in a minute. first, we're cloudy to mostly cloudy. temperatures gradually fall in the mid to upper teens. cincinnati, have us down to 18 by midnight. overnight, we'll see some partial cheering. we'll level at 14 degrees.

we're on west fork right now. kind of making our way through mount aries forest, area, heading towards corain. much of what we've seen so far. we left the station probably last 45 minutes, went down hopple street. heading northwest, was pretty snow covered still. some of the outside lanes are snow-covered. we're catching to make your way towards colerain. some of the side streets have not been cleared. if you're seeing some bad roads in your area, feel free to tweet me, and i'll check out some roads near you. we'll let you know how they are. for now, reporting live, sydney

it was -- another plunge. this is how it ended. one point, it was down 500 points. john schmitt's port folio manager, joins us with a look what's driving the markets down. . >> and it should be a good thing. and you should buy more gasoline. it's cheaper. >> and oil falling about a year ago. it's really a result of slowing, concern of a slowing economy. started as an oversupply situation. we're producing of the country, massive amounts oil. and we started cutting back. saudi arabia is ready to pile on. and since then, it's been more after demand concern in the last few weeks. that's why the markets have been more on the edge. particularly china.

additional watches, advisories posted close to areas 71. the heaviest snow we received on friday, especially late and especially during the evening will be south and southeast cincinnati. that hasn't changed. more on friday's system in a moment. if you're out and about tonight, some roads may not be in the best of shape. roads for clues, gotten. and you should be able to get out and about tonight. and partial clearing and overnight, temperatures falling in the mid and upper teens. you could track clouds as they break up in at least some tri-state communities. you should return the track tomorrow. updated forecast and updated planning forecast numbers. and up in oxford, it's cloudy.

>> snow made its way out but long. >> scott dimmich is here what we can expect tonight and the system that may be headed our way on friday. scott, a lot of questions, right? >> absolutely. this is the case with every winter storm in the tri-state. we have to see where the moisture. and we have to see how much moisture there is in the system. those. er to cast gets complicated. we try to get you what we know. in the coming hours, coming days, team of meteorologists, will get specific with what we know as new data comes in. new forecast posted from owington, and mason to brown county. 5:00 a.m. to friday, through early saturday morning. i think the start time of the watch is a little early.

weather event, potential storm will be centered late on friday. for the afternoon and evening commute on friday and also for friday evening, totals will be lower to the north of the watch area and our friends in the far northwest part of the tri-state will miss out completely. we'll hold on to a partly cloudy sky, temperatures dropping down to the upper teens. and then we'll drop into the mid-teens overnight with some partial clearing especially early. satellite-radar, some breaks in the clouds in the west. i believe a lot of the breaks in the clouds will be filled in with more clouds because, toss a considerable amount mid level clouds. and wind chills are down in the teens for most.

>> liz bonis shares us to share details and in today's living longer report. >> good afternoon, guys. researchers are looking at the age of new moms, found fewer teens are giving birth. that's a good thing. many women are also waiting until they are older to start a family. that means the average age now of first time moms is 26-year-old and 4 months. that's the highest it's been until now. ob-gyn case medical center that supplies, it's certainly a good thing that teen births are down. delaying the start of the family, could introduce new complications. mothers should talk to doctors. women in the late teens and late 20s have the fewer problems of pregnancies. the complications does increase after age 35.

odds of downs syndrome goes up. and the odds in carrying the pregnancy to term. and it's possible that women could be infertile before going to menopause. studies show, there's no one time that's right. you should seek your primary care provider. it is critical at any age to look at the months before getting pregnant to up the odds of having a healthy baby. nutrition, if you're thinking about getting pregnant, the things you would do already pregnant need to start 3-4 months ahead. all the babies's systems are down. you could avoid alcohol, good nutrition, prenatal vits. those kind of things.

2.4 officially in cincinnati. the attention turns to the late week system and who will see snow and who will miss out. the winter storm watch has been posted for owen, pendleton, robinson, adams county. this is in effect 5:00 a.m. on saturday. i believe most of the impacts from the winter weather event or potential winter storm on friday will be during the back half of friday afternoon and friday evening, with temperatures in the 20s. some of the snow, could be moderate and heavy at times in the far southern counties. just to the north of the watch area, there will be likely at least some accumulation or snow showers. this is the most uncertain area. most of the model guidance county. they received little to no snow. with the winter storm watch out and potential for the national weather service or four more
