marshall's home computer. he's locked up on $25 thousand bond. thomas moore's president, david armstrong, marshall is on administrative leave. armstrong has appointed steve safety. and we will bring you more information once we get it. wrong way driver in boone county causes a serious crash and we're learning more information on the crash on north ben road that sent two people to the hospital. >> right now, 22-year-old, daniel is at the uc medical center. right now she's clinging to life. she's the one behind the wheel of the car that they believe caused the crash this morning. in the boone county sheriff office, they are trying to determine what led to the crash. this was the scene early this morning. take a look at the two vehicles. you could see the blue honda barely even recognizable as a

it was that badly damaged. investigators tell us around 5:20 that morning, car was travelling southbound in the northbound lane, driving into traffic. we're told on -- sideswiped one car. debris landed in another car's windshield. he collided head on to the truck. the first responders on the scene. found the woman, along with the man, and both drivers had to be pulled out. they were airlifted to the uc medical center. we're told that han shell has life-threatening injuries. we're told those are not life-threatening. >> when we have head-ones like that, on dividing highways, normally we go through the median. they are medical or go to sleep or something caused them to -- but not too often, do they come up on the side of the road. >> the two vehicles that were involved.

there were two people inside the vehicles. they were transported to saint elizabeth hospital. we are told they are going to be okay. >> crash caused police to shut down northbound road, kentucky 237 for more than two hours today. new money is on the way to help with private and single schools in cincinnati. more on how much cash will get it and what the money will do. jeff. >> the money will improve technology on some classrooms and improve leadership in some schools. foundation, accelerate great schools, $1.4 million. and st. francis and saint dezillis in oakley. the program is called blended learning, in st. joseph school in the west end. they let kids, focus on individualized lesson.

willfong died, when she lost control of her car, near seany run and hit an oncoming suv. according to the funeral home website, the funeral mass will be at 10:00 in st. andrews in milford. police identified the 27-year-old who died in a parking lot in an apartment building last night. he died in a westwood after he was shot. police were called to the western glen apartments near ana cond da drive around 10:15 last night. if you have any word on a suspect, you're asked to call crimestoppers 352-3040. >> feel the extra chill this morning. we're really not getting used to the cold days. i don't think it will last long. let's check with meteorologist, scott dimmich. >> temperatures are falling in the 20s this evening.

it's right next to the gulf and plenty of instability. it's not really a specific time of the year because down there, if you get a strong front coming through, severe storms. and that's a concern for them. thankfully here at home, we're nice and quiet. we promise a cloudy to mostly cloudy day. if you're out and about, the next few hours, clouds will be gradually decreasing. initially for areas well west, well south, well southeast of cincinnati. we'll be mostly clear once we get to the second half of the evening. notice temperatures will be falling quickly between now and 8:00. we're down to 29 and 8:00. keep in mind, we're only 39 degrees right now. weather cam shows at least some cracks in the clouds trying to develop. no precipitation. it's at the radson. we'll take at the weather cam in

you say a brightening of skies, looking to the north. temperature 31. no rain today. we will stay dry late this afternoon, this evening. and at least for the first half of the overnight. then flurries become a possibility. very late tonight and early tomorrow including during good morning. since that they. i suspect the coverage will be limited, to the west and northeast of cincinnati. if you want some sun, wants some warmth, we get the sun late friday. the southerly flow will pop the temperatures to the 50s for the first day of the weekend. we stay warm all the way to early next week. saturday is the pick day. we will have waves of rain coming through in the weekend and early next week. windchill, 23 at the international airport. cloudy skies. wind out of the south at 7ful even with southerly components, it feels colder than 30 degrees.

least a couple of degrees below the temperature for all tri-state locations. we're 30 in cincinnati. we drop 5 degrees between now and 6:00 tomorrow morning. satellite and radar shows, no rain or snow close to cincinnati. notice the rapid decrease in cloud cover to eastern kentucky sh southwestern kentucky. southwestern indiana. dryer air is chipping away, cloud cover that's been around all day long. as we shake these clouds, the attention turns to the disturbance coming from the interior midwest and the great west. that's the disturbance that will bring them back to the tri-state and tomorrow, and eventually that will be isolated to the northwest, northeast of cincinnati. notice here, network of

if we fet a temporary clou cover, it breaks down. this is an act of instability that will bring us more clouds and flurries during late tonight and early tomorrow. then that disturbance swings through. another one comes our way late tomorrow evening. even with some partial clearing early in the morning, early in the afternoon, more flurries will cycle in the ohio valley, late tomorrow and gradually flurries will push to the east and diminish tomorrow night. even though we start friday with clouds, clouds decrease in a hurry, friday morning . and saturday, it looks to be picture perfect day if you want sun. highs in the low to mid 50s first day of the weekend. tonight, down to 25, 6:00. local 12 news, live at 11:00, still in the 20s. all the way to tomorrow.

>> this report looked at women over a lifetime who developed ovarian cancer, compared their eating habits. they found diet changes may make a difference for some women and so could early detection, which is also what survivors recently shared to us at practice for the power is here shoot-out. >> my stomach swelled. i had forever bloating. i looked like i was five months pregnant. >>nd a debbie walter is an ovarian cancer survivor. she's part -- to raise awareness. the new report focused on diet changes that may reduce the woman's risk, especially in african-american women for ovarian cancer. it was recently presented to a conference for the american cancer association for cancer research. >> many of the foods may be

what a difference they may make, when they compared the diets, of women who eatened the foods. they found almost a 50 percent difference in the rates of ovarian cancer. they compared 600 diets, 600 control people, for knows who did originally did have the cancer. they found the simple things really did add up. fruits and vegetables are those topped, with less likely to have ovarian cancer. they have whole grains and breads and cereal. instead of red meat, lean protein and seafood. that was the diet overall. now the diet was compared to those who followed those the most, compared to those who followed the least. one reason they highlighted, also true for women who are african-american, they are less likely to be diagnosed but more likely to die if they get it. important information for all of us.
