an inch to a half an inch of snow so far. they have some snow accumulation on the ground. even there the roads are mainly wet. 42 degrees is what the pavement temperature is in cleaves near downtown. 38 in liberty. still that's above freezing. we're looking okay on the roadways, they are mainly just wet. you still want to take it slow because they are wet outside. on the atrium center weather camera, some of the snow falling there. look at the wind out of the west at 20 miles per hour. it is a little bit breezy at times, we can see the back edge of the snow going to make it into the area later on tonight. you can see a heavier push of snow later on this afternoon. these on and off snow showers 6:00. temperatures starting to fall right around 35 degrees. 37 will be our temperature. only a degree or two warmer from where we are right now. falling below freezing around 10:00.

rees stallworth was driving on harrison avenue when he saw the other car and allegedly said i'll kill us all and then ran into the car. in court stallworth's attorney says it was his girlfriend in his car and his girlfriend's mother in the other car. the girlfriend was in urt court and asked that the six charges being dropped, but instead the judge held him on $60,000 bond. paul shaffner was accused of killing britney 20 years ago. doctors said her injuries were equivalent to falling from a 20-story window. since the story aired more than

cold, too. >> a coast guard helicopter rescued the crew of a fishing vessel. after the fishing boat ran aground a coast guard was sebt to rescue them and it overturned. between five to soeven crew members needed to be rescued from the boat. not known why the ship ran aground. a 25-foot vessel also ended up overturning. five coast guard members were able to get to the beach uninjured. gear.

vessel sent to rescue turns over. >> we are much colder than what we have been used to. there's a warm-up. we do have snow out there to deal with for the time being on precision doppler 12 hd. that's the white that you see streaming in. most of this is mainly just some flurries, there are embedded snow showers where you see the brighter colors, even some of these blues, zooming in over downtown, not too much going on, light flurries and light snow moving in across the area. none of which is sticking over much of downtown. near wilmington, slightly heavier snow. we do have snow cover around that way. less. the snow is melting as soon as it hits the roadways. this is i-275. you can see traffic having no trouble moving along. part of the roadway is actually dry with the traffic going across it. some others out there that saw

that's all we're looking at, no driving troubles this afternoon other than the wet roadways. this is north near oxford, you can see the snow cover there on top of some of the roofs. that's what we had downtown until easterly -- earlier this morning. look at the wind, though, coming in from the west. a little bit breezy at times with snow showers moving in. 35 in harrison. we were just looking at the camera in oxford. not too far away in liberty. 32 brookeville and franklin county right at 33. that's where we have the cool air. not only there but also in wilmington and sabina. in wilmington they saw 1 1/2 inches. hillsboro around an inch.

an inch. most of us are seeing very light snowfall amounts. that snow that was measured near the airport. most of that has melted already. a lot of is melting now with highs right around 37. look what happens after we get passed 8:00. we start to see mainly flurries moving on in, the temperatures are dropping to below freezing. the snow showers are moving in now. the back edge starting to push into northern indiana. we expect to see things taper off a little bit. you can see the spin with it. moving to upstate new york and pushing away from us. we don't have too much longer to go with the snow showers. right around noon, we have some of those moving around around 8:00. notice one thing. see how the clouds are coming in

we're pulling in some moisture off the great lakes. early tomorrow morning, they are not going to accumulate, even some peaks of sunshine. pressure moves over to the carolinas. our wind will switch around to the south again. check out this weekend's forecast, really nice. especially by sunday. 60 degrees. a few evening showers late sunday into early monday. it shouldn't be too much of a problem. most of the rain will hold off until the middle of next week. we could even see some thunderstorms. >> after today, one more day of cooler weather before we really start to warm. >> thank you. >> be sure to join local 12 tonight. the big bang theory at 8:00.
