has told us that an 8th grade student shot two others in the lunchroom. apparently both of those students who were shot were taken to the hospital, we're told they are in stable condition at this point. we're told that the sheriff's department has arrested the alleged shooter. this happened at 11:30. the junior senior high school is combined. we're getting this information from someone inside the school. different resources as we can.

here leading to the school is pretty well backed up. this is what i know. i just got off the phone with the person for the madison school district. three people have been shot. nonlife-threatening conditions and one suspect is in custody at the present time and the school has continued to be on lock dos down. the suspect, again, is in custody and as was just mentioned. the schools will be dismissing early. they will not be dismissing until the sheriff's office gives the go ahead and the clearance for every one to dismiss. the junior and senior high will be dismissed early first and then the elementary students will be

of three students were injured. a student at the school told our perry schaible that two people have been shot there. none of the injuries are considered to be life-threatening. that building is on lock down until they are told that the scene is clear. also, we are told that a number of other buildings have gone on the lock down, including edgewood schools in that same area.
