>> while it may be mostly dry, it will pick up in the next hour or so. if you want to go out and about, i would leave about right now. and elmore, it would be more wet, with more ponding of water. the rain begins to push on in. we've been sitting here pretty much all day long the temperature hasn't moved much, especially with the spotty showers. it's coming to an end. there's an end in sight with some of the rainfall. the temperatures slowlyfall. it will bring in cooler air tonight. that's why they are falling about a degree per hour. it becomes a little more spotty around 9:00 tonight. most of it is moving on out. we will be mostly dry as we wake up tomorrow morning. finally we will get to dry out the roadways. it's going to be cooler. we're going to be in the middle 40s by early tomorrow morning.

over rain, in a couple of days. you could see the flood watches and warnings, all the way through new orleans, through mississippi river and southeast kentucky. that's where we stop, near peduca. dryer air compared to what they had in louisiana. they have storm system after storm system, moving in the same areas. more moisture, in the western gulf of mexico. you could see the radar and thunderstorms raining midday. thankfully, dried out northwestern louisiana. more rain is on the way, as you heard recently. you could see the rainfall moving up here. you don't see the reds and yellows, to the south and west. it hasn't been nearly as heavy. it's been nearly some light rain, drizzle at times. this is the rainfall totals last fall.

since the rain. and crittendon, and totals will pick up, especially in the corridor, south and east of downtown. precision doppler hd. you could he sao the area of bright yellow, and this is moderate to at times heavy rain. this is going to move southeast of downtown. it will cross the ohio river, to claremont, brown and adams county, hillsborough and highland county and clinton county will get in the next several hours. and as we're getting a break, you could see that on precision doppler hd, there's the break. more rain is pushing to downtown cincinnati as we speak. there's more to go to the south and west. and you could see all the clouds that we had today. we didn't get the peak of the sunshine today. 62 in cincinnati.

that's the high temperature. and with the exception down towards mazeville, west union, still sitting at 65. we hit around 70 earlier. and that's where they are dry most of the day. showers moving in, this afternoon in the past few hours or so. the rain will continue. notice it, we have a bit spotty, at 9:00. that's the downward trend, in temperatures as well, 52 by midnight. most of the rain, begins to wrap up around midnight 1:00 a.m. we get a -- we have to have clouds around as we head to work and school this morning. temperatures will be in the 40s as we have the cooler air to the north and west. jackson has been in the middle 70s. there's a front. and you could see the temperature gradient.

and this is moving to southern claremont and southern brown county. it's moving through hillsborough and highland county and peebles and adams county. we've already seen that as the i-75. it will continue to be steady as it goes into the evening hours. it will take around midnight to clear it out. we have no chance of any sunshine so far today. that's why the temperatures are very, very steady. if you watch me at noon, same thing. no change in temperatures. we're right where we are today. we did hit a high of 64 degrees. it's cooled at the international airport. that downward trend and we'll get the temperatures to move. it will be in a downward direction. a lot of us around 61. very uniform temperatures. down to 67 by 7:00.

showers break up, especially by 10:00, 11:00. after that, we can start to dry on out for the friday morning commute. temperatures will get down to 46. the window direction, has switched to the north and west, pulling some cooler air. there's the rain we have today. so far, it's mainly light. this is the heaviest of the rainfall. you could see why. it's moving over and over. they saw about 15 inches of rainfall in northwest louisiana. there's major flooding going on there. green is areas where we have flash flood watches. we have the hardest hit areas, north of the louisiana and the mississippi river, western mississippi. that extends to paduca. we don't have as much moisture. they will get some more rain, right along the access between the temperature difference.
