minner road. there is a detour. >> thank you. now to mansfield where police responded to eight calls for overdoses in half a hour. according to the mansfield news journal, overdoses happened in five locations. four other overdoses happened earlier in the day. names and conditions of the victims have not been released yet. police are not sure this morning if the cases. city council made the decision on the future of the gazebo at the rec center where police shot and killed rice. the gazebo can be dismantled and taken to a storage site. it will be on public display eventually in chicago. council hopes it can be taken down before the school year

minimum wage walked out of the council meeting. raise up cleveland is pushing fur 15 an hour minimum wage. there's a proposal in front of the state supreme court to allow ohio voters to approve or reject a wage hike. ohio's tallest building is sold according to cleveland.com. key tower is under contract to companies known for apartments. the deal does include garage. it's been on the market since last year. no word on the purchase place. now for outdoor lovers, a parking lot. people have been camped out in anticipation of grand opening of cabela's. >> those doors don't open until 10:00 today. >> i know. they're already here.

cleveland city council signed off on $10 million in upgrades to the stadium. the improvements won't be as flashy as huge score board and improvements browns recently funded. the city will add l.e.d. lights on upper concourse, repair sprinkler lines, ducts, rusty metal decks the mayor's office says the city is responsible for most the stadium's . all right. to rio know. the men's basketball team finally got a real test last night. this was kyrie irving against delhi. they played a close game until the final moment. anthony scored 31, game the u.s. team's all time leading score. guess who he replaces? lebron james.

let's look at headlines. humid again. this pattern stays put through the rest of our workweek. into the weekend too. planning the day, it's pretty easy. you carbon copy the past few. we'll see sunshine and storms at times. you know, heat and humidity is really the underlying headlines. 77 right now at hopkins. it's 5:17. over the next several hours, we see shower and storm chances here. i think this pcu we won't have showers and storms throughout the day. in fact, i do think we'll see filtered sunshine. even right now things are quiet for a lot of you. it's very muggy again as you wake up. you can literally walk outside. it feels it can rain at any point. some showers east of cleveland now. you'll get closer in and see showers impacting parts of lake

north madison getting hid by moderate rain at this time good news is there's rain. no storms. wet roads and certainly slow down miss because of that to the east. look at dew points. so impressive. if you're not staring at tv, in the tropical zone again. we have more of the same expected the next couple of days. we go hour by hour and see the filtered sunshine mid to late morning. it's uneventful as far as showers go until by 2:30 we start to see numerous showers popping up. this will continue into the dinner hour. grilling or being out on your patio can be a bit of a challenge. getting to the pool can be a challenge. beauty this morning, kids can go to swimming lessons and all of that. plenty of warm for that we calm down overnight and.com all over again tomorrow. showers and storms popping up especially later in the day for

let's drive over there to mitchell's. right now if you're heading out, we're looking good on the west side i-9 fullerton road. traffic on the east and westbound sides of the highway. in fact, looking great on the west side. east side looking great too. normal drive times as well as to the south. no problems. here's the picture if traveling to akron canton airport. the picture 77 at mount pleasant street. everyone getting by just fine on the north and souun of the highway. that drive time on 77 between u.s. 30 and i-277. akron 17 minutes headed north, 18 minutes headed south. so far, we're a-okay. dog gone weather at 5:46. look at sweet reggie. this is reggie's puppy picture by the way. cute and cuddly.
