akron up 77 looking good. route 8 also looking no problem back up to cuyahoga county. 71 through medina looking fine. 271 looking good too. a check of the roads toward stark county. 77 back up to the airport or akron. no problems this morning. we'll keep an eye on the roadways this morning. >> more on that crash het three lanes i-90 east were closed after a dump truck crashed and overturned. it sent hot asphalt across the highway. this is east 185th street. the driver was taken to the hospital. no word on their condition this is morning. after allegations of hazing, a local high school football team is being forced to forfeit its first game of the season. tiffany is here now to explain what is next for lake catholic

>> the letter was sent explaining the decision to suspend varsity players one game. they didn't have enough players for the game. that game was going to be saturday against toledo st. johns. we told you about this a week ago. that reportedly happened during a camp in july. a report was filed with john carroll university police department. we weren't able to see details of impactly what happened. it showed two -- of exactly what happened. it suspects. we'll have more coming at 6:50. if you remember, we were talking about streetsboro high school band. their leaders were put on administrative leave after allegations of hazing among that group too. >> all right. we'll see you in a little bit. thanks tiffany. cleveland city leaders are rejecting a proposal from east

the city council president kevin kelly called the proposal a, quote, non starter. it came with a list of conditions like tax credits for east cleveland residents and keeping salaried east cleveland council members as an advisory council. kelly says any merger proposal would have to come with state or federal aid. police have identified the woman who was shot driving on i-77 in canton. the ohio state highway patrol says was shot near the mile marker 106 after 3:30 in the morning. that's near the pro football hall of fame. investigators are still searching for the shooter. . the horrific life of one of northeast ohio's most emphasis one time residents is coming to big screen. it's a film about the early life of serial killer jeffrey dahmer. it's now shot in our area. itself next stop is akron.

live filled for the movie it's a mixed feeling there it's a controversial movie. it's a little excitement for the location. it's true because even on our facebook site, our page was booming with the story that was happening yesterday. a lot of people are upset and saying we're glorifying what he did. that's not the case. the movie is telling it from his perspective and friend's perspective. that happened here in our very area. that's the reason amy took advantage of this opportunity to be showcased in this movie granted, this might not have been the place he stopped at. they will be featured. you're pretty excited. this is the exposure that local businesses need sometimes. >> absolutely. especially small businesses in this area. there's not many around. it's a struggle everyday for us.

aftershocks add fog anxiety and despair in -- adding to anxiety and despair in italy that number is expected to rise as rescue crews continue to look for survivors. several aftershocks since wednesday have caused more damage to cities. firefighters have been escorting survivors back into their homes only temporarily to get things they left behind. a california judge who sentence he gave a sanford swimmer will no longer hear criminal cases. the court granted his request to be reassigned to civil cases. he has been under fire since ordering a six month sentence for brock turner who sexual assaulted an intoxicated woman. flood victims in louisiana are desperate for help. the clean up efforts continue following days of severe

volunteers spent a lot of time pitching in. the clean up will fake -- will take months. fema is sending trailers for those needing temporary places to stay. obama says federal assistance will not be enough. 13 died as a result of that severe flooding. a john hopkins university study says people that live closest to natural gas wells are twice as likely to suffer fatigue, sinus problems than those further away. 8,000 in 40 pennsylvania counties were studied. air pollution, odors, noise, bright lights produced by drilling are likely responsible for those symptoms. time is 6:09. still ahead, why online retailer amazon is focusing on opening up more bookstores when other companies are forced to shut their doors.
