in fact here is the picture on 71 at 271 were all is just fine. not too many people out there this morning, coming up in about 15 minutes we will move to let dina county and let you know were state route 18 is closing today, and of course a detour around it. cruiser on the scene of a house fire that happen on cleveland's west side of an eye. it happened on madison avenue near west 73rd authorities are currently investigating because it was the second night, in a row, they were called to this location. no one was inside the home and no injuries are being reported. meanwhile, a popular downtown restaurant will be cleaning up this morning, after a late-night fire. cleveland firefighters quickly put out a small fire on the rooftop of the greenhouse tavern on east fourth street. witnesses say there was heavy smoke. the restaurant posted on twitter and facebook that it would be close for lunch today. no word on what started the

students and staff at euclid high school are mourning the loss of a student athlete. tiffany tarpley joins us live this morning. grief counselors will be at the school today. >>reporter: they will be to help everyone deal with the death of andre jackson. he was a student athlete, football player, a junior here at the high school. there are going to be some tough days ahead for students and staff here. and, of course, his family. death, last night, some students came right here to the football field at the school. his coach was here, as well. according to district leaders he died following an injury sustained during friday night's football game. the coaches says it was part of a special-teams play at an away game against solon. >> it was a pooch kick, he was going for the ball in one of their guys was going against the ball. i think you got kicked, or need, or something like that. it was a completely normal play. it was a very strange

>>reporter: a situation that everyone is dealing with, this morning. jackson was injured on friday, he died on sunday. now, we are just waiting on official word of his cause of death. >> very heartbreaking. a disturbing public health warning this morning in cuyahoga county. after seven people died in a single day, because of drug overdoses. the-- the cuyahoga county medical examiner says there is no clearly between the cases, over the weekend, and people involved. these deaths increase the possibility that there is a very deadly drug spreading around this community. the cuyahoga county medical examiner is encouraging people to take advantage of project don. it is a distribution program available in the county and surrounding counties. eligible participants are given free kits, containing two vials

a 21-year-old woman has died after alcohol drugs, and speed all contributed to a bad crash in cleveland. the crash happened on st. clair just east of woodworth avenue. lycie 22-year-old was beating down the road, crossed into the oncoming lane hitting a car head-on. her passenger was killed, and the crash, and the other driver severely injured. the driver has not been arrested, she is still in the hospital with injuries of her own. here we go to the next chapter of this race. donald trump and hillary clinton will go head to head first presidential debate tonight. it is right here on nbc. maureen kyle has a look at how the debate is shaping up. >>reporter:there are strict rules when it comes to presidential debates. everything from how the moderator can get involved right down to how the candidates enter the stage. the commission on presidential debates release some information on how the debate

will be a 90 minute debate, but it will be broken down into six, 15 minute segments. hillary clinton gets the first section -- question, she has them two minutes to answer and then donald trump has two minutes to respond. then the debate opens up on the next 10 minutes. they plan to focus on the serious issues there. lyrical analyst they both candidates also have hurdles to jump tonight. for donald trump i say voters will be watching his temperament, and for hillary in to see how she answers questions about her trustworthiness. at this point, the latest poll shows clinton is ahead 46%-44%. we will be following this throughout the night, and tomorrow morning. i think god for the game of golf and what it has meant to me. >> sad news, in the sports world, this morning, legendary golfer, arnold palmer, has died from complications of heart problems. he was called the king, winning

for an independent investigation into a police involved shooting that killed a 13-year-old boy. earlier this month, police were called out to a reported armed robbery and when tyree king ran from police pulling out a bb g un, they shot him thinking it was a real gun. protesters say they do not trust the police to investigate themselves, they want more money spent on violence prevention programs. the case will be presented to a grand jury. check this out, you may have heard a lot of stories in the news lately about dressed as creepy clowns looking in cities from ohio to wisconsin. some even wielding weapons including an ax, like this one caught on camera in a small town, along the ohio river last week. one area police department is warning against trying to imitate this unsettling trend. this was in wellington, ohio. not far from here. you are in our viewing area. police posting a warning on the facebook page, the department says it is a dangerous game,
