we are getting antsy. it's going to be a little difficult to wait for the world series, game 1 coming up tuesday night in cleveland. the indians were back to work yesterday and they will continue to work all the way through the weekend and monday, all the way until tuesday. yesterday they were not able to go outside to get in their practice. they had to work out indoors because of the rain which kept them from going outside. they have plenty of time to get the place ready. when they host the world series next week it will be the first time they've ever had home- field advantage for the world series. the first pitch time will be

anything outside, it is fall in northeast ohio so we expected to be cool. it is a little cool. you will feel the breeze off the lake for sure. also we will have the lake- effect rain. especially along and east of interstate 77 you will see this. we have a mix of clouds and sunshine tomorrow. fall is firmly planted in northeast ohio. upper 40s downtown, lake water is at 62 degrees right now. the winds are generally from the north of the state between 10 to 20 miles an hour with a wind s hour at times. that will create some large waves on lake erie. if you are thinking, i wanted to make it a boating day and you are a novice at boating, i would stay off of the water until tomorrow when the winds will subside. here's what radar looks like. as we mentioned before, we are tracking some lake-effect showers that you can see through ashtabula county. it is slowly meandering its way

and dover, if you are joining us, we are expecting rain to move on into your backyard within the next hour or so. down toward [ name indiscernible ] there's a couple of spotty rain showers in your area as well. akron, just east of town, that is currently where we are tracking some light rainfall. this will come with a fairly stiff wind, compliments of area of low pressure off to the east. it's on the west edge of this area of low pressure. notice how the air rose are pointing from the north toward the south. that is a northerly flow of air that will drive that air over the lake which is collect the -- which is causing the lake- effect. by tomorrow evening, on sunday, our next cold front is poised to move into northeast ohio when i think by that point sunday evening, we will start to see another round of showers. let's walk you through your

mainly east of 77 and now west of 77 we stay well -- relatively dry. that's the good news. i do have the umbrella on standby just to be on the safe side. as we mentioned before, first thing tomorrow morning we will wake up to a mix of clouds and sunshine, perhaps a spotty shower. most of the afternoon on sunday we will stay dry. sunday evening is when the secondary cold front moves through that we were just showing you. that will ignite of light showers were northeast ohio. temperatures today, feiss -- the highs will be upper 40s, a great indoor day. maybe make some chili for dinner tonight. mid 40s for tonight. the temps tomorrow will be in the 60s, i think we will see the sun breakout some of the time. monday is looking fantastic and tuesday is looking even better, just in time for game 1 world
