cloud cover before we start to see some brighter skies into the afternoon. it was a great end to the weekend. how nice was yesterday. 68 degrees sunshine and fall colors really at its peak right now. just spectacular across northeast ohio. we are in the low 50s for highs. we are still in the low to mid- 50s in some spots. so this is actually the warmest we will be in many locations at the moment. and i wouldn't plan on anything too much more from where we how to dress fall jackets today absolutely and an umbrella is kind of a question mark. chances for showers will mainly be east and through early today. but we won't take those possibilities out until mid morning. by 1:30 this afternoon we are seeing a lot of breaks in the the cloud cover and it should be beautiful and partly cloudy skies at the very least and we will clear out more so as we head into the evening. the all-important tuesday

involvement i. no -- voinovich bridge are open. >> will will be counting cars for us. >> reporter: looking good right now but it's early. not a lot traffic. but traffic that is passing on the voinovich bridge has a cruise. more than five years in the making 500 million dollars. the bridge completely opened. the project started back in 2011 with the construction on the west brown bridge and then the previous inner belt was demolished in 2014. crews working around the calendar to get the other bridge complete. this morning i-90 east reopened. two lanes entering the bridge i- 71 north with two lanes entrance from state route 176 so all in all five lanes in the eastbound direction. the west 14th street entrance ramp opened and ramp i-77 to 190 east back to one lane.

on detroit road near linda street. police say these three suspects pulled a gun on a 26-year-old woman ordered her into the car. within ten minutes of the woman's boyfriend calling police, officers found them. arrested them and confiscated a gun in the karch the victim is safe -- car. the victim is safe and was not hurt. officers think there may have been a previous property dispute between the woman and one of the suspects. a community paid tribute to a armed robbery work at his family's sandwich shoal. sunny patel was honored with prayer vigil. his aunt says the community has been incredibly generous and thousands of people donated $36,000 to the family. the family says they can afford to pay for the funeral and will find a way to put the donations back into the community in

or clear to partly cloudy skies. right now most of you are in the 50s. so i think that's a really good estimate for the bus stop. kid at school with sweat shirts and fall jackets and fleece that is kind of a thing will be comfortable for them. so we have the cool conditions in place. we don't have much in the way of rain but the possibility we can't rule it out. it's totally dry at the moment. a little lake-effect showers to the east is a potential and we are picking up on this on future view and see the chances through 9,00 if you are in ashtabula lake county. but even there i mean it's going to be hit and miss. partly cloudy skies getting into the afternoon. looks quite lovely. cooler than yesterday's upper 60s and we keep it nice into the evening. we will take a look at your window nation 7-day forecast and we are planning on the highs in the 50s really through much of the week. but we get closer to 60 at times. tomorrow looks like a beauty of a day and really great for the indians game tomorrow evening.

drive times. john and lynna back to you. a manhunt is underway after police say a pair of officers was shot outside oklahoma city. >> let's get the latest from the morning news feed. >> reporter: this is developing overnight. we have been waiting for more details. the officers were shot when they were responding to shots fired at a mobile home park. police say the suspect starting shooting with a ak47. one suspect is in custody but they are look for who got away even though he was shot twice. he apparently stole a police car to get away and car jacked a woman by shooting her and fleeing in her car. her car was later found with two bodies earlier this morning. the officer and woman who was car jacked suffered nonlife- threatening injuries. and we will keep you updated. more than 80 people were arrested for protesting the construction of the dakota access pipeline.

the city looks great. and it will continue to today. we have a breezy day ahead ofus. yesterday we hit 68 degrees but i think mainly dry and eventually it's going get pretty bright for us into the afternoon. i think some cloud cover to start though. and can't rule out a little lake-effect sprinkle to the east. in the meantime, as we plot it out here for you, fall color is spectacular. and in general, the weather is going to be really really decent as we kick off the week. low 50s so we as far as numbers and where we are right now. notice the cloud cover here to begin and then we start to see breaks in that and sunshine into early afternoon. so be patient. rise this morning a few minutes before 8:00 and for some of you it will be a bit delayed. but that's okay. and we are calling for much brighter skies tomorrow with the indians playing and, of course, it's not until evening but we should be pretty clear for that too. lots of 50s and for this time of the day, this is actually mild. but the whole catch is we are
