right now welcome back i am john anderson. >> i am lynna lai. tracking rain as a big travel day for a lot of people. yeah and you know we have got so much going on with thanksgiving tomorrow. hope you are having a great start. so, here's the deal. we are dry right now as you wake up. that's the most important thing to know. it's cold and temperatures are in the 20s to near at hopkins. and we will stay dry for the next several hours even some peeks of sunshine as the sun comes up but we will have a lot overcast around noontime today. 40 degrees and we end up low to mid-40s for highs. lots of you are in the 20s so to have you are heading -- if you are heading out to the bus stop or work or out in general grab a heavier coat or sweater. you need to bundle up. this is what's on the way. so we have got rain that will be moving in for the afternoon. it will be scattered so this is
6:31 am
leading edge if you look at your tv you will see the pink showing up and three sleet mixing in and wet snow because temperatures are still cold. and as this encounters the colder air this is what's happening. the timing does work in our favor. if we do get a premature shower there could be a couple sleet pellets but i think as most of this moves in this afternoon it's scattered rain we will be dealing with. 3, 4, 5 and even into the evening and tonight, is when we really think the rain me bit more study and hopefully you know wherever you need to be you are there into thanksgiving and more scattered showers and we will track through the rest of the holiday weekend coming up. danielle speaking of tracking you've been keeping a close eye on the roads. thank you so much good morning. hope you are having a great start to your wednesday. so far pretty great start to the commute. we are all green and not checking accidents but just in brunswick we have a road closure because of a water main break. hancock road closed between
