story out of oregon where armed militia members have been occupying federal land for four days. the group is hold up inside a federal wild life sanctuary they seized just over the weekend. they're fighting for the liberaraon of thousands of miles of federal land which they believe should be returned to america's ranchers. >> it's time for you to leave our community. go home to your families and end this peacefully. >> frank: the siege started on saturday when the group was protesting prison time against two ranchers who set fire to land. >> tammy: all kids in grade school are 5 and 6 will receive those gadgets for the school

we had to bump saturday's rain chance up significantly because the timing has slowed down a little bit here with the systems coming from the west and the gulf, too. a complicated forecast, believe you me. i wish it were easier. it is clear right now in asheville. it's very dry. i'm sure the hands and lips are getting chapped, if you certainly had to wash them. 38 degrees in greenville. and northeast wind all day long. their wind chill down to 32. everybody feels cold, believe you me. high pressure is down to the east. that gave us more of a northwest flow and thus the snow showers that we had to deal with in the day and late afternoon. now that the winds begin to turn more southeasterly, what that does is push moisture off the atlantic. as that moisture starts to creep

creates more cloud cover and cools and eventually adds more showers. we're going to combine the two processes and there comes the cold front. that's coming late in the day friday. that ups our chances significantly. continuing in to the weekend unfortunately saturday and sunday. skies are clear tonight. skies are clear through much the day tomorrow. taking over the upstate and then they'll start to spread farther north on friday. we wait for the rain to come in friday afternoon. temperatures in the teens for many tonight. 17 in asheville. 20s over the upstate. back in to the 40s tomorrow, though. this is going to be noticeably warmer than today, folks. you're going to like it for the most part. our temperatures will get back in to the 50s soon enough. we'll get there thursday, friday, saturday will likely be
