carolina say someone has tried to burn down the former home of ex-cop micheal slager. he is facing murder charges in a high-profile case. witnesses say they saw someone running away before the fire. slager gained national attention after shooting walter scott last april. a video showed scott running away as slager shot him. slager was released on bond last week. his trial is set for octobebe 3 3 drug lord "el chapo" captured and returned to the maximum security prison from which he escaped just six months ago. this morning he is behind bars, and mexican authorities may send him here to the united states to face justice. reid binion has the latest. 3
