is what we know so far. it started in haywood county when a deputy tried t tstop the vehicle. it ended shortly after 11 p-m. that is when the suspect's vehicle crashed into a guardrail on i-40 eastbound in buncombe county, near the brevard road exit. because of all of the law enforcement on the scene... traffic was backed up for quite a while there. authorities have not released any other details at this time. 3 3 3 new this morning... a fire damages part of a home in weaverville.. firefighters were called to the home on village park drive around 10:30 last night. our crew at the scene captured firefighters removing the bed. the weaverville fire department tells us the fire was contained to the bedroom. the woman inside and her dog made it out safely. the cause of the fire remains under investigation. 3 3 investigators are still working this morning to determine the cause of a house fire in candler. the blaze started around seven last night on walter crawford road. crews quickly got the fire out and no one was hurt. 3 3 ((beeping)) the loud beeping of this carbon monoxide alarm saved a man's life in marion.
