our top story following a grand jury meeting. richardson is charged in the death of tim fry. and pierre griffin ii is charged in a triple murder. lauren is live outside the buncombe county courthouse today and with new information in the case. lauren, the indictments have been handed up? >> that's right. that means now these cases will be taken up in superior court. we last saw richardson in district court in january. that's when her case was continued to today. because this indictment was just handed down, she did not appear in court this morning. now she allegedly shot tim fry to death inside his home back in december. investigators say richardson claims she shot him because he assaulted her shechlt remains in jail without bond. in the case of pierre griffin, that moves to superior court. he is accused of killing alexander king and tattianna dietz on the night of october

investigators believe he shot all three the same night he led police on a chase. i talked with representatives with the burningham county district attorney's office. they tell me the next step for both of these cases is an administrative date in superior court. that is set to take place february 2929. >> right now, there is no front runner in the democratic race for president.

temperature is. unseasonably mild, just a jacket needed throughout the rest of the day. some locations closer to that 60 degree mark. the winds picked up a little bit in asheville. henderson county and forest and 8 into greer. tt high elevations have a chance for gusty conditions tonight into tomorrow. we are continuing to wait for the front to move through the region, increasing not only the wind for the high elevations but for everyone. the chance for rain and thunderstorms possible through tomorrow tomorrow. showers in the foothills through 4:00, 6:00 as well. not a ton of rain but more widespread overnight, southern in our southern mountains. watch through tomorrow morning, some heavier rain bands, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00 tomorrow, even through lunchtime. and then past lunchtime, 2:00,
