3 19:56 "we thought it was that deep, and i stood in it and i sunk in it." county crews managed to fix a dam at a private pond that nearly failed due to the high waters. 3 3 3 clean-up will continue this morning in other places across the mountains... after flash flooding caused damage and left behind quite a mess. one hard hit area of asheville was biltmore village. crews put up barricades to block flooded streets. some businesses and property owners cleared storm drains on their own. that helped the water recede quickly, but it left a muddy mess behind. 3 3 the heavy rain also forced several offices to close in henderson county. the beverly hanks office complex had more than a foot of water around it when a creek flooded its banks. it also forced a doctor's office to close. there is no word this morning if that office will be open today. 3 3 another area that was hit hard by the rain and flash flooding was cherokee. a swift water rescue team evacuated people there until the water

and washed out a section of smiley littlejohn road.. leaving some people stranded. cherokee emergency workers said four homes were affected. 3 3 severe weather caused damage all across the state, not just here in the mountains. the rare february storms hit davidson and randolph counties particularly hard. gusts of wind up to 50-miles an hour were observed in some areas. so far, there have been no reports of injuries but there are multiple trees down. the storms brought down power lines and cut electricity to some residents. 3 3 a dog shot in the head in south carolina is now recovering in arden. a two-year-old boxer, now named amara, is in the care of the non-profit 'boxer butts and other mutts.' she was a stray found severely malnourished. it was not until she was admitted to western carolina animal hospital that it was discovered that she had a bullet in her head. amara is now blind and partially deaf, but in better hands. 3 heidi wagner, founder of boxer butts and other mutts: "it's not the worst medical case. i think as far as this one hitting me right in the heart

defect already prompted the biggest auto recall in american history. now, the national highway traffic safety administration says takata told a dozen automakers that newer model cars are at risk as well. 3 toyota is ending its scion brand. scion was started in 2003 to target younger buyers. while its products were very closely related to toyota vehicles...they have a unique style. the youth market has changed since 2003, though. an analyst with autotrader says millennial buyers are less interested in standing out, and would rather buy cars from known and trusted brands. 3 more potential health problems are surfacing associated with the toxic water crisis in flint. health officials are investigating if the lead-tainted water is causing skin rashes. the michigan department of health and human services says that while rashes can have many causes, they want to make sure flint's water is not one of them. officials say it is still too early to make a direct connection between skin rashes and the water. 3 check out this video of a car

3 in this morning's the buzz, we will find out next month if bill cosby will face a criminal trial. yesterday, a judge refused to throw out the sexual assault case against cosby. cosby's lawyers argued it should be dismissed because of a promise made some 10 years ago by a then-district attorney not to prosecute him. a preliminary hearing is set for march 8th. at that time, another judge will decide if there is enough evidence for the case to move to trial. 3 "the most important thing in life, will always be the people right there, right now." this movie franchise just keeps on cruising. the "fast and furious" series is getting ninth and tenth installments. universal pictures announced the ninth film of the blockbuster franchise will hit theaters april 19th 20-19. two years after that, fans will be treated to the tenth film in
