>> zack: bakersville is in need of a revamp. >> they're beginning to detearate badly. >> zack: 6800 feet of water line supplying. this small community is doing what they can to make sure national news doesn't hit close to home. flint, michigan. as a preventive measure, governor mccrory has allocated money to communities that have suffered water problems. >> we've done about 72 water repairs. >> zack: little repairs will be a problem for the past as the governor's grant awarded bakersville nearly $2 million. >> there's more materials that should enhance to make sure we have clean potable water at all times. >> zack: water concerns are for the town as a whole.

after a brief i don't know what i'm doing. i can't find anything just when i think it's just not going to work. this woman that works there comes over and asks can i help you? and he was so happy, to do it amazing right? i never would have expected would have thought that anyone would find that do that. make that go out of their way for me. right then, right there i couldn't believe it he was so helpful i know it's such a small thing little thing. simple thing but it made me smile made me happy

that puts our wind chill down to 33. but the air is very dry. relative humidity 30%. that usually means they're going to cool off quickly when the air's so dry and the sky's so clear. we may drop quickly initially and kind of level off. 47 degrees in greenville. north wind at 6 puts their wind chill down to 44 degrees. upper 20s in asheville. you'll see that those temperatures really don't fluctuate too much. the wind calms, our temperatures will be close to what it will feel like in terms of wind chills. it will get better. speaking of better, the chance of rain and snow will be better. rain snow mix turning to snow on monday.

this is not going to be a big system. we'll get enough moisture working down in to the french broad valley. light accumulations are likely. look at the mountain forecast. 80% chance of snow. all snow for you monday and tuesday. high pressure for now keeps things very quiet. our winds will weaken in to the weekend. we'll start to see our wind come back from the south and west. that will mean milder temperatures not only tomorrow but sunday. here comes our arctic front. the leading edge of this is going to bring snow showers quickly to the mountains by monday afternoon. southeast kentucky, northeast tennessee stretching in to ohio. once that front goes by, you're going to notice it. temperatures will drop. and the wind is really going to crank up.

>> tammy: super bowl preparations are in full swing in the san francisco bay area. news 13's luke notestine caught up with some of those fans today. >> luke: thanks, we're here in downtown san francisco at super bowl city. a gathering site for footballs fans from all over the country. they're here to kind of get ready for the big game coming up on sunday. we caught up with a few fans to kind of get what they're doing to prepare for the big game on sunday and also how much fun francisco. the energy level continues to build as fans of all ages enjoy super bowl city. we found an energetic group from charlotte. >> i went home for both the playoffs games. even with charlotte closing down both airports, i made it. being here, it's a bucket list
