i don't know if it's troubling because in some ways, you are doing the wrong thing for the right reason. this is the theme of the segment. i want to go to the bundy's in the midwest. it's a standoff. he is comparing himself to rosa parks. he is saying that he is more discriminated against then black lives matter.i said to myself really? i asked a couple years ago, when his father and a group of ranchers were involved in the standoff they all had guns. i asked , what's the reaction from the federal government and what it had been different if the ranchers had been minorities? would it be different if they were black ?
5:32 am
to answer because they of time. i think a lot of people thought in baltimore, if black lives mattered, it would have been in a government building, the outcome wouldn't have lasted that long. >> there was legitimate questions there as to how people were being treated. not just by the government by others .
5:33 am
the bundy candidates flocked to him. it was to stand next to him about the tire any of the government. he started saying some controversial things. everyone backed off. >> it was about jews and minorities. now the gop presidential candidate has been thrust into being critical but it's a cautious critique. can he compare himself to rosa parks? >> personally i don't see the comparison but he does. what about the issue of laying ground. that's the real issue. there was a fire that took place in the fire spilled over into the property. these guys were sentenced. they got the sentence and he was scheduled to go to jail and the government stepped in and said wait a minute . we did not sentence you long enough but we will add more. that's bizarre. talk about it! >> that's what made it so controversial. it is going to be in it will continue to be something that seeing how they respond will be interesting.
5:34 am
the past to stand shoulder to shoulder with people like kim davis that spark controversy. keep in mind this is different from black lives matter.it's the setting. >> is different because these people are armed. >> is a big difference! they are carrying. the setting is different. the media's ability to cover the event is different. in st. louis and ferguson, there is much easier access for media to be there and everyone was flocking to the area. in rural oregon it's different because a lot of the journalists are trying to call into shows and not having cell service. there's different challenges there which is feuding the coverage of the event. there is a completely different set of circumstances outside of what's taking place there that's changing the way people

>> if the heel of the scan was different, with the coverage and how they categorize them in the government's reaction toward them would it be different? >> there is a strong argument to be made that it would . >> i sympathize with the bundy's and the land. like i said they are doing the wrong thing because they are breaking the law. there should be no tolerance. for my opinion, it's in the right reasons. >> this goes to the discussion of what qualifies as terrorism ? we have people who are armed and they are in a standoff with the government. if that was a different group of people, they could be labeled as terrorists. >> the arms are legal.they are legally carrying but the occupation of a federal building is not . >> this is true. that's where you draw the line. what's the difference between them? >> the government blew the building up. that speaks to the distrust of government.
5:36 am
and they are still powerful to overtake a federal building. >> last friday in south carolina on another topic , a muslim woman sat in an auditorium in south carolina as donald trump spoke. the crowd started chanting trump, trump , trump . it was assigned to escort her and others out and he was talking about syrian refugees. she admitted that she was being escorted out , many of the people profusely apologize to her for this behavior. this is assuming that she is a terrorist. some people were yelling, you are carrying bombs and you have explosives. you can look at the woman and say she was carrying nothing. what do we do in these instances? we saw the good side . it's not judgment or

is sympathetic to terrorism and they believe the government is against them. yet , you will talk about the issue of the woman wearing that he did nothing wrong. >> with secret services that i know, it's to protect them. donald trump has secret service protection. it was the case of the crowd mentality. she stood in the reaction from the crowd and doing that grew to the point that it led to her being escorted out. that's what happens when you have a strong message. someone like donald trump. they just lead muslims into the country and its casting a wide net as to who puts us in danger. i don't think it's helpful to the discourse. it's what donald trump has been

he feels justified in doing that and saying, look americans agree with me. i think it's a little bit disturbing. we don't want to polarize people. she was not a terrorist in any way that she proved a point people who see her might perceive it as such. i think we need a discuss in the show but a lot of people are peaceful people. >> when you sesethat and you shooting of that police officer and he said he did in the name of isis you see why people are feel for. it was brazen. >> people have every reason to be afraid and scared. at a time like that, people are also looking for someone to settle their nerves to console them so they understand your

to judgment. it's something that's all built into the personify in ways running upon. i think it will be something that becomes very problematic for the gop going forward. as a bunch of new ads that's trying to reach out to the republicans. whether or not the new voters is the same they want and need to send to change course for them in the next eight years. >> here's the interesting thing. it's all the domination by candidate trump all over the world. i have known mister trump for a
