21:32:33 the fruit salad of their life is what i will look at. while the republicans debated...nat charlie wilson concert hillary clinton danced at a charlie wilson concert ahead of tomorrow's south carolina primary and talked race at a north charleston church. but bernie sanders was on a midwest tour...his biggest crowd of the day was in president obama's hometown of chicago.(kenneth standup close) for the republicans, our political analysts say an energized rubio won the may not be enough to impact the billionaire's momentum as kenneth moton, abc news washington. 3 3 south carolina's democratic primary is just one day away now. both presidential candidates will be in the palmetto state for a final push. senator bernie sanders will host a "historically black colleges and universities" tour stop and rally at claflin university in orangeburg. he will be joined by hip hop artist "killer mike." aftewards, sanders will head to columbia for a "get out the vote" rally. 3 hillary clinton will also host a "get out the vote" h-b-c-u rally at south carolina state university in orangeburg this afternoon.

husband -- former president bill clinton -- will be at boyd plaza in columbia for another get out the vote rally. 3 polls for the south carolina democratic primary open at 7 a-m tomorrow. we will have live updates throughout the day, and have live team coverage starting at six tomorrow night. updates will also be posted on our facebook and twitter pages, and wlos dot com. 3 3 breaking news out of berkley county south carolina, where a deputy was shot this morning. investigators say the female deputy was shot after a fight broke out between her and the suspect during a traffic stop in goose creek. that is outside of charleston. the deputy is now undergoing surgery. the suspect's vehicle has been found, but the gunman is still on the loose. we will continue to follow this developing story and provide more updates as they become available. 3 3 governor pat mccrory declares a state of emergency in three counties because of widespread power outages. at least three tornadoes may have touched down wednesday in the piedmont. one is confirmed in granville county... north of durham, damaging homes and

were reported. the national weather service is also 3 3 3 the search continues... for possible suspects in the fatal shooting of an asheville teenager last week. 17-year-old kyri logan died after being shot at 'deaverview apartments.' police today told us investigators are still collecting and analyzing evidence... as well as interviewing witnesses.. kyri was on the football team at 3 3 a transylvania county man, now a convicted murderer, will spend life in prison without parole. it took jurors less than an hour to find richard o'shields guilty in the shooting death of toby mathis. prosecutors say he wanted to avenge the death of his son.. joey. months earlier, mathis was charged with involuntary manslaughter for joey's death. 3 yes we're disappointed but we respect the jury's decision. as you have noted, we are taking an appeal to the court of the appeals and that will be handled by the appellate defender.but you can't outrun it forever so this has been a long time coming but you have to be held accountable for

3 it's 5:xx. let's take a look at business headlines. the dow was up 212 points yesterday to end trading at 16-thousand-697. the nasdaq was up 39 points to close yesterday at four-thousand-582. 3 3 pizza seems to be the key to success. both dominos and papa johns have reported strong sales and soaring stocks the companies are aggressively going after millennials. digital sales -- like online, smartphone apps and even tweets -- have increased. dominos and papa john's are taking advantage of the weakness at pizza hut. sales there barely rose last year. 3 subway is beating the competition when it comes to offering antibiotic free chicken. other chain restaurants have made the promise to rid their menus of poultry treated with the drugs, but they haven't yet executed that. subway is working to nix antibotic chicken this year and turkey next year. mcdonalds made the promise in march and chick-fil-a said they would in 2014. subway also said it was on "track to remove all

preservatives from north american menu items." 3 spacex scrubbed its second attempt at launching a satellite on thursday. this is file video of a launch last month. just under two minutes away from the private space company's scheduled launch time, the countdown froze. a new launch day has not yet been set. the mission, which spacex is carrying out on behalf of s-e-s, could provide internet access to remote areas of the asia-pacific, including india, where about one billion people have no internet access. 3 the f-b-i would have an easier time breaking into the average andriod smartphone over apple. federal agents are currently in a privacy battle now with apple over a terrorists i-phone. only a fraction of android devices are encrypted. without encryption, police would be able to extract data from a phone -- even if it were locked with a passcode. 3 3 3 the time is now 5:xx. one of the biggest nights for hollywood is just around the corner. coming up, we have a live report from the red "oscar" excitement. 3
