coming up, what was taken and who is behind bars charged in the crime. now from western north carolina's news leader, this is news 13 at 11:00. >> frank: a hendersonville man is behind bars tonight accused of stealing from biltmore baptist church. deputies say that jeffrey silvers also stole items from an asheville business. the two thefts combine total more than $30,000. justin, there was also damage to property there. >> justin: yeah, an iron gate around the church parking area. according to warrants, this all took place in the middle of december. but he was arrested today. two months after a theft investigation at biltmore baptist church began, jeffrey silvers is behind bars. the 22-year-old hendersonville

church's lawn care equipment. he also took other tools worth nearly $9,000 from someone else. we spoke with that victim who says his company was on the property doing work when it became a target. over $50,000 worth of equipment gone. but it didn't end there. silvers then pawned some of that gear in asheville. stopping at american pawn, cash masters, and allens jewelry and pawn on tunnel. we reached out to the church for comment but have not heard back yet. we also spoke with an employee at one of the pawn shops. he says he was unfamiliar with the case. tonight. his next court date is tomorrow. reporting live in arden, justin hinton, news 13. >> frank: the asheville man charged in a triple murder scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.

a probable cause hearing. johnson's body was found inside his apartment on the evening of october 27th. investigators believe he killed king and diz that same night. dumped their bodies inside the river. a rule 24 hearing to determine whether the state will seek the death penalty. tonight, police in dayton, ohio, are not releasing the motive in the killing of a pastor. the suspected shooter, the reverend's brother. elise colton reports. >> reporter: daniel schooler opened fire inside the baptist church killing his brother. witnesses described what happened. >> this man walked in and sat down. we were singing.

>> often times those people are turning around and selling tickets for an exorbitant amount of money. >> reporter: she looks for potential red flags. >> perhaps legitimate but i'm going to check and see. because i've actually seen in the past that a lot of them are based in arizona. it's a big problem for consumers because, you know, especially for big shows that sell out within a couple of days. if 10% of those tickets are being bought by people who aren't really fans. >> reporter: recently super star singer adele took on the issue after disappointed fans were left on the outside looking in. adele is working to track buyers and keep tickets away from scalpers. some seats for her latest tour were reportedly listed for more than 10 grand.

now your news 13 skywatch weather. >> karen: we have light showers on the move. right now they are between nashville and knoxville, approaching the mountains. and they should arrive right around day break. could be a little bit wet for our morning commute. right now we are dry at 50 degrees. 52 at greenville and breezy. we take a look at one future cast model here. hour by hour we go. we have a week cool front that's going to be moving in to the region by day break. that is bringing the light rain our way. actually this latest model shows it pretty much falling apart and just some more cloud cover. but i think we could get a few sprinkles here and there. then we are in for a beautiful sunny day. we have high pressure building in behind that cool front.

back in to the 60s with abundant sunshine. by 5 o'clock, looking good. those light showers we get early morning are going to be a distant memory. we have more rain on the way. tuesday, 7 o'clock, it is going to be sunny and beautiful. but then the clouds roll in along with a little bit of rain in our western mountains beginninin tuesday afternoon. scattered showers on tuesday at 6 o'clock. but we see some heavier rain on the horizon by then. and as we go in to wednesday, this is going to be moving in to the region. heavier rain. can't rule out a few system. and then turning cooler. lows overnight are going to remain mild. 40 in asheville. upper 30s in waynesville. lower 40s in the upstate. tomorrow, we're warming back up to a high near 62 in asheville. franklin 63. and 70 in pickens. we take a look at the next seven days. a couple of them are going to be

have a great morning. when a counselor asked how much my husband drinks, i said, "not that much." i don't know why i said that. he always drank too much, but i guess i'm so used to keeping it a secret that i didn't tell the truth- to myself or anyone else. my husband has drinks with friends after work. he has a couple of drinks at home with dinner and a few more while we watch tv. pretty soon he's shouting at me and blaming me for all of his problems. i just can't take it anymore. a counselor recommended al-anon family groups. she said al-anon members have had experiences just like mine, and they would explain how al-anon is helping them. i didn't want to go to al-anon, but i'm sure glad i did. is someone's drinking breaking your heart? you might be surprised at what you can learn in an al-anon family group,

[ cheers and applause ] making the best of it. it was a night of controversy. it was a night of awareness. it was a night of a lot of uncomfortable famous white people trying to make sure they clapped when the cameras were on them. as you know there were no black nominees in the acting categories. tonight's oscar hopefuls were whiter than the line to buy

the only way a black or hispanic or asian octoberer was going to win an oscar was if they let steve harvey announce the winner and that didn't happen.
