oirk officials say the bombings were in retaliation for the victory by the government over the isis forces, the deadliest attacks in baghdad this year. >> a navy seal is being honored today with the medal of honor. edward buyers is the first navy man in years to be given the nation's highest award for valor. he was part of a team which rushed into gunfire to rescue druxt joseph who was being held by the taliban four years ago. he says that his greatest regret is that a fellow seal died in the rescue attempt. the university of california-berkeley is the latest school to fall victim to a cyberattack. the school has begun notifying more than 80,000 students alum new and contractors of the breach. the hackers may not have copied any data from the system which handled purchasing and payments including financial aid. the breach occurred two months ago. one more note about the oscars for now.

hanging out and jason, what's your big take away from this year? >> reporter: the one thing that i think everybody focused on here backstage and during the show and i think a lot of people in the audience, as well are talking about c cis rock and they're talking about diversity and talking about how well he did. he threaded that needle to talk about these really kind of intense subjects. one of his first jokes about how people didn't protest the lack of oscar diversity in the '60s because they were busy dealing with real things like lynchings. that was a hard hard-core joke. got a lot of jokes but also very serious. he set the tone from the begin. that's's what everybody is going to be talking about tomorrow. >> you cover the industry. do you think that the academy will eventually become more diverse in the near future? >> that's a great question because it's so hard. there's so much work to do in changing, moving this big ship behind the scenes and getting people into these positions where they're hiring, that they are in -- this he are directing

responded to a domestic family -- violence call at the home of ronald hamilton. he's also accused killing hisis wife before police arrived. hamilton is a sergeant assigned to the pentagon. guindon will be remembered today at her hometown in new hampshire. the parents of a critically injured teen in salt lake city are looking for answers this morning. the 17-year-old had a stick in his hand friday night when he was shot by police. investigators initially said police fired when the teen tried to attack them. now they say they're trying to figure out exactly what happened. the two officers involved in the shooting were wearing body cameras. >> new details in the fatal shooting of an ohio pastor in his office. police plan to charge his brother with murder. services were ending when shots were fired. parishioners ran in terror. the suspect had a history of mental illness as well as violence. the reverend william schooler was a former school teacher and principal and a member of the dayton school board.
