they charge the 48-year-old with one felony count of first degree sex offense of a child. his girlfriend said she saw video tape of the suspect having contact with an 11-year-old girl. the alleged crime happened in january of 2009. >> happening today, suspects in two high profile cases have court appearances. a probable cause hearing was schedule. it was continued until june 6. griffin is accused of killing johnson, and tattianna dietz. the case of robin richardson, accused of kelling a wlos employee was continued until thursday afternoon. she will have a bond hearing at 2:00 that day. richardson is charged with first degree murder for the death of tim fry. back in december warrants state richardson shot fry. she remains in jail without

>> happening today, a man charged in a major theft case involving the largest church in the mountains will go before a judge. jeffrey silver is accused of stealing more than $0,000 worth of equipment from builtmore and then pawning it. he is accused of breaking into several vehicles. arrest warrants indicate he took tools or nearly $9,000 from someone else. >> mcdowell is facing a great need for foster families right now. an informational session is being held many hopes of getting help. there are 62 foster families in mcdowell but more than 100 paems in need of foster homes. dss officials say the number of children in their care has doubled sense this time last year. they believe the prime reason behind the increase is substance abuse problems in the county. above all, a foster parent must be able to provide a loving environment. >> these families are willing to
